I should have known when the bagel shop in the middle of the day had a line our the door but Goff’s Hamburgers had 2 people sitting at tables this was a bad idea. Goff’s is a Dallas staple that has been in this neighborhood for decades but I never tried it before. When I walked in it has the feeling of a restaurant that stayed open longer than it should have – very dated. The guy behind the counter was much more interested in his phone than helping me, and when I asked for swiss cheese on my burger he said they only had American – strike 2.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a genuine old fashioned burger. I grew up on true diner style burger and this one takes the cake. My only gripe was that they use shredded cheese instead of slice but the taste of the burger was incredible. The service was amazing and quick. I managed to catch lunch in between meetings. Restaurant cleanliness was great too.

The burger was very subpar. The burger wasn’t seasoned and they use shredded sheese instead of American. I’ve never experienced that before and I’ve been to alot of burger joints. The girl at the counter was not very nice but the place is well maintained and clean. PLEASE SEASON YOUR FOOD

Goff’s is a neat old burger joint with lots of historical photos posted on the walls. I had The Deal and it was a heck of a meal. More than I needed to eat – but very good.

Goff’s Burgers is simply the Best Burger Spot. Period! The #4 Chili Cheese & Onions with a Fire- Grilled fresh beef patty is legendary and my favorite. Family owned by a long time Dallas Family who are keeping Harry Golf’s tradition alive & well. Highly Recommended!
