I’ve eaten at Gobong a couple of times and have also ordered takeout several times, and the service is always excellent. The owner and his family are incredibly friendly and courteous, and they truly make you feel welcome every time.
The food is consistently delicious. I especially recommend the soy garlic and honey butter chicken wings. They’re flavorful and perfectly cooked. The French fries are always fresh and crispy, and the Beef Bulgogi Cupbap is absolutely amazing.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and outstanding service!

Finally! Chicken that tastes fresh and not frozen. My soy garlic chicken, while a tiny bit too saucy, is not dripping with sauce, not salty, and not like eating a spoon of brown sugar. Don’t be put off by the interior design. You’re not eating the interior design. Even if you do, it’s clean. Besides, it’s mostly for to-go orders. Some of the nicest people, too, in the neighborhood. I got free soda, and the coleslaw is plenty enough dinner for two nights. And it feels good to buy local!

Exceptional Korean chicken. Tried first time couple months ago, it is my go to place for Korean chicken craving 🙂 Pick-up from there a dozen times at this point. Owner and the lady are so nice and caring, their preparation speed is top notch while the food is fresh as it gets. Definitely recommend!

Ordered take out for the first time. Counter service upon pick-up was excellent. The cashier was very fast and friendly. It’s a small place inside. I would recommend take-out. The food is very unique tasting, most of it being sweet. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, Cheese Tteokbokki (Korean pasta), sweet and spicy wings, regular fries and cheese sprinkle fries. The cheese sprinkles fries had a sweet flavor. The wings were more sweet than spicy. It wasn’t really for me but I recommend you give it a try and experience the uniqueness for yourself.

Was a bit skeptical of how true the reviews could be with how positive they all are, but this place genuinely has some of the best wings I’ve ever had, and I keep coming back. Seriously the DEA needs to reclassify these wings as a schedule 1 drug because they are insanely addictive, I’m back here about once a week. They’re so crispy on the outside and still juicy in the middle, and their sauces are amazing.
Personal favorites are the spicy soy garlic wings and the honey butter wings.
Had the mozzarella corn dog a few times too, never had anything like it before and I was surprised by how good it was.
Plus they have delicious boba tea, and the family who runs the place are very friendly.

We got the tteokbokki, spicy soy mixed chicken, and honey butter chicken and they were all great in portions and tasted very nice. The crunch held up until the next day even when it was straight out from the fridge!
