This is a great stop for a taste of good old fashioned local home cooking! The turkey noodle soup was amazing and the turkey biscuits and gravy were fantastic. Dining area felt a little crowded and much like a busy local diner from the “days of yore” Nothing fancy…just really good food stop for the weekend road trip journey home.

The 8 oz. Hence plate was delicious! Just enough gravy to go with everything on the plate. We had it for lunch, you should too! Oh, and got the carrot cake to go.

Soooooo good! Best turkey dinner I’ve had in a while, also had other things for the kids to choose from. More food than I could eat with the medium sized turkey dinner. Soup was also delicious! A little pricey but worth it in my opinion.

This place has it all when it comes to turkey! I got the hot turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, and it was delicious. My girlfriend got the turkey wrap, and she loved it. Very nice people working here and super knowledgeable about the nearby happenings. It’s wheelchair accessible inside and out. Wheelchair accessible parking.

We like stopping here when we are passing by. My only complaint would be that I order a HOT turkey sandwich and would be nice if it was hot. Temperature wise not spicy.

(Second visit update)
We came here for the second time (first time being 2 years ago) I ordered a Hen Plate and it was just as delicious if not more as the gobbler plate was the last time I came! The turkey was so tender, no dry spot at all, I also got their special, turkey noodle soup, definitely the best thing you can have on a cold day. The biscuit that came with it was impressive too!
We loved the atmosphere as well, quite, peaceful and homey so we’re gonna make it a tradition to come here whenever we go up north!

We always make it a point to stop here on our way to and from the UP. The turkey soup, turkey wraps, cranberry turkey salad, homemade lemonade, raspberry pie, carrot cake and cookies—everything is absolutely delicious and keeps us coming back. It’s truly the healthiest and most comforting option you’ll find on a road trip, and it all tastes just like home! But what really sets this place apart isn’t even on the menu—it’s the people.
