The ambience was festive & friendly with Christmas decorations. It is simple no frills pub with many options to select from at the bar. The place was well decorated with Christmas lights outside and brightly lit Christmas trees inside. The bartender was efficient and his service spectacular. Our party had different beverages throughout the night. We were planning to visit other bars that night yet we decided to just stay & enjoy our time there.

Closest thing to a pub that Wilmington has got in my opinion. Small, cozy, and friendly. Great little bar to sit at and a few tables for hanging out with your friends. Good beer selection and welcoming vibe. Also walkable to/from other great local spots!

We stopped here for a drink on our way to a concert. It was recommended by a young guy at another eating establishment in Wilmington. I am not sure how they wash their wine glasses, but the glass had a terrible chemical taste on the rim. The bartender replaced the glass, but the next glass also had a terrible taste on the rim.

Goat & Compass is a terrific neighborhood haunt in the Brooklyn Arts District of downtown Wilmington, NC. The patio is the place to be on mild fall days and evenings.

Went to an out event there. Chef linda had yummy food. Got her sweet and sassy salsa and her pickles. Had some yummy gluten free cookies she made also. The live music was very good also. good casual outdoor venue. Only thing was a couple of folks were smoking. mostly it was ok but after a while the smoke was a bit too much even outside.
