This was our first visit to Gloryridge Tavern, and overall it was a wonderful experience. We chose a late lunch and made a reservation 48 hours in advance for 3:00 PM on a Saturday. The reservation process was seamless and definitely recommended.

The service was spectacular from start to finish. Our cocktails were all fresh and clearly handcrafted — we ordered espresso martinis, an Old Fashioned, and their seasonal dessert martini. The espresso martinis, in particular, were strong and delicious.

For an appetizer, we shared the buffalo wings. They were large, juicy, and cooked perfectly, with a crisp outer skin and tender, flavorful meat inside.

Our server was exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu and displayed true fine-dining etiquette. She was patient, never rushed us, and made us feel completely at ease. We had our baby with us, and she promptly brought a highchair when requested and even provided a cup of boiling water so we could prepare a bottle on the fly — a thoughtful touch that did not go unnoticed.

When it came time to order, I chose the scallops, which are served with mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans included onions and carrots, so she kindly allowed me to substitute a salad, and I requested fries instead of mashed potatoes.

Unfortunately, the fries were extremely salty — to the point that no one at the table could eat them. It was disappointing, especially since they appeared to be hand-cut. The scallops themselves were decent but could have benefited from a longer sear or additional marinade as they were slightly bland.

The rest of our table ordered a mix of dishes, including the 12 oz Delmonico steak, and the ham & cheese sandwich. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, particularly the steaks and sandwich.

Despite a few minor critiques, we would absolutely return and look forward to trying other menu items. The menu offers a wide variety of options, making it exciting to explore different specialties.

Parking is somewhat limited, with approximately 5–6 spots available, but the beautiful mountain views more than make up for it. There was also a wedding taking place during our visit, and we were able to peek into the ballroom — it was beautifully decorated and looked like an excellent event space.

The bathrooms were spotless, and the overall atmosphere was cozy, warm, and inviting. Gloryridge Tavern is a lovely establishment, and we look forward to dining here again.

Fabulous find near Gettysburg. The steaks and burgers are fantastic. Best delmonico I’ve had in many decades! Best old fashioned ever! Small and quaint, with great atmosphere and great service. Everyone is very warm and welcoming. Ample parking. Don’t miss the fantastic views of the lake and the panorama as you drive up … This would be an incredible site for an event.

We were promptly seated for our reservation. The woman who took our reservation over the phone was friendly, as was our hostess and waitress. The atmosphere was cozy and quiet, even though the restaurant was pretty busy. Parking was plentiful. The venue itself is beautiful and off the beaten path. The dinner and cocktail menu had plenty of great options. We opted for a smoked old fashion, lemon drop martini, Caesar salad, surf and turf and chicken wings. Our toddler had the cheeseburger sliders. The staff was so kind to our kiddo and I appreciated being able to sit in a quiet area with him and the cleanliness of the high chair. The food was out of this world. We eat out every Saturday and typically frequent Gettysburg restaurants. Nothing quite compares to the filet and crab cake I had here tonight. Growing up around the Maryland area, I know where to get good crab cakes and I’m a bit of a crab snob. No filler, amazing homemade tartar sauce and plenty of old bay. The steak had not an ounce of fat on it and was juicy. Even the green beans and mashed potatoes were phenomenal. I loved the bacon in the green beans. Such a great attention to detail in the food here. We both got lava cake for desert. That too was amazing. This place is a hidden gem and we told our friends to give it a try. I’m only sad we didn’t know of it sooner!

Great food and service, very pleased. There were seven of us, and we ordered fried pickles for appetizers and a few other items, and then for the main course, mignon and crab cake, very delicious. Food is sourced from local Adams County farms, which is a plus. Be cautious when navigating to this place, especially if you are coming from Dawn Road, as you may miss it. Entrance is located on Camp Gettysburg Road, just after the intersection with Dawn Road. Highly recommended for good food and service.
