Put in a carry out order, had a long ride home only to be disappointed. I paid a little over $60 for what ended up feeling like soup and rice. My to go container was completely cracked and while the flavor of the food here is great, it was not worth the price. I had 3 orders of butter chicken and it literally seemed like a spoonful of chicken. While everyone here is nice and flavor of the food is great, it’s just not worth the price.

Pros: amazing food, great staff, good beer choices.
Cons: cleanliness, parking (college town), no handicap ramp.

First off Id like to say that this review was hard for me to right because I had to take emotions out of it and be completely objective.
I want to start by saying that our server was new and that I wont be too critical on the circumstances that arose from that.
My wife and I have enjoyed this restaurant nearly a dozen times and have love the food and experience every time, mind you these were all to go orders, so this review is purely based on our in dining experience.
Before arriving for my mother-in laws birthday dinner we placed a reservation for a booth looking out the window which was seamless and smooth. We arrived and were greeted by Akhil who was friendly and did his absolute best to accommodate our needs. (The women in the group have a tendency to ask for a lot of side options lol).
Upon sitting in the booth you can tell that this is a restaurant in a college town as the booths were dirty and what appeared to be food was on the backs of some of the stalls. The food is a five star and if you are someone looking for a clean atmosphere to match this may not be it. For those who have OCD around their food this may not be it. The food was great as well as the wine and beer.
One thing I want to discuss here is an occurrence that took place during our meal. While in the middle of deep conversation and reflection at the table a little girl came over to our table. From the looks of it she was still pretty young and I believe she was related o the manager who later came and told her to leave us be. But before this the little girl stood there for approximately 45 seconds to a minute interrupting us by chanting na nana na na while pulling up here shirt. The first time we thought it was funny and then went back to our conversation to be interrupted several more times. At this point it became slightly obnoxious. Now don’t get me wrong I understand that this is normal behavior for children and common place in other cultures, I just felt that it was not conducive for atmosphere component. When the manager came over to get here there was not an acknowledgment of us.
With this one annoyance I think that the in house experience was worth it and would dine in again if I see a change in the cleanliness of the booths.

Goodness gracious! How did I forget to take picture of my food? Welp, probably because it was delicious. There is construction as 11/22, so you might miss it like I did. I am happy I stuck it out! I had Chicken Saag. The port was generous, but not overwhelming. You can select from 3 or 4 heat levels. If you like a little heat, medium will.probably be fine. I got there before the dinner hour, so it was quiet. I didn’t have to wait long for my meal. Just trust me, the food looks, smells and tastes great. You should definitely give them a try!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Globe Indian, and it was an unforgettable experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a special occasion. The highlight of the evening was the surprise birthday celebration arranged by the staff. A huge shoutout to our waiter, Bahrathi, who went above and beyond to make the night memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, with rich and authentic flavors. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend Globe Indian for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal with exceptional service. Five stars all the way!

My husband and I went to this restaurant for the first time. We love Indian food so we were really looking forward to it. The front of the restaurant is under construction right now. But the restaurant was easy to find. We went on a Saturday around 5:00 p.m. The interior of this restaurant was nice and bright with seats facing the windows. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, quiet, and cozy.
We ordered a mango lassi to start, which was super thick and super tasty! The samosas, plain naan, garlic naan, butter chicken curry, and chef-special curry (chicken) were all delicious in the morning. The samosas were very tasty with the aroma of cumin seeds spreading in my mouth with each bite. The samosa dough was crispy and really tasty.

Update:
I went there today after a long time and the naan I ordered was not good. It was not soft at all, the whole thing was crispy and hard, and the table was full of pieces of naan. I have only had naan that was softer and fluffier, so I was very disappointed with the naan here. Also, this is very overpriced for the quality of food and service (others may think differently, but this is my experience).
We were not at all satisfied with the food and we will not be visiting again.

First time I’ve had Indian cuisine. Wow! It was awesome. Great service, nice clean restaurant and delicious food. I ordered a mango lassi to start. Mmm… Was so good. Then a mushroom soup w/ authentic indian spices, paired it w/ garlic naan and ordered butter chicken n some chicken tiki masala w/ basati rice. Everything was amazing! This is real homemade Indian food. It is comparable to the many others I have tried. The owners are super nice and generous. The price can be a bit high. Quiet atmosphere, really a family place, although there were many people getting take out.

The Gobi Manchurian, Garlic Nan, Tika Masala, Korma, and Chef special curry are some of my favorites. Also can’t go wrong with the Biryanis.
Service could use some improvement. I usually order take out but we dined in restaurant this time.
