Got the chicken avocado bean rice bowl.. Delicious with great flavor. Chicken cooked well. Avocado was perfectly ripe. Black beans were amazing. Wanted the plantains as a side but couldn’t get it.

We paid Global Cafe to cater our wedding. The food was good. The service we hope they improve on is communication and punctuality. They arrived late with cold food and did not turn on the burners, causing our guests to use the microwave to heat their plates of food until the burners were able to bring the food to a satisfactory temperature. The sauces were not labeled so the guests were not sure if spicy or not. There was minimal communication. It took many calls and texts for our Coordinator to reach someone to confirm the week before and the day of.

Plantain bean avocado bowl is to die for make sure you get the stewed tomato’s and coconut sauce that the sweet ladies suggest!!!! Also cranberry chocolate chip cookie for dessert shouldn’t be passed over!

Renee’s food is addictively delicious, and it’s so healthful. Love everything I’ve had there and look forward to a Global Cafe restaurant, please! (Next door to my house, maybe?) Her jerk chicken was a huge hit at a celebration of ours years ago; guests still remember that in particular. I crave her greens and her home-crafted juices. I head straight there at the market.

Ordered thru DoorDash at 1:40 PM and 15 minutes later they cancelled my order.. Yet they are open until 2:30 pm. Not a good start on offering DoorDash. Disappointed! Poor hospitality!
