The smells when first walk in the strong old school r&b giving you a great welcoming our server Elise was very informative about the restaurant and the food. Very attentive the restaurant was empty since we arrived 15 mins early. But like the other reviews say I don’t know how this isn’t packed this place has to have the best Mac and cheese fried chicken and Greens the yams so flavorful I couldn’t believe the service and food I received. Definitely will be back very soon HIGH POINTS HIDDEN GEM and the corn bread muffins MOIST ! Give them a try and the owner Mr.Felton was super cool hope them all the blessings

PLEASE Try the Dish you’re looking at, if you’re not a big fan of heavily salted dishes, THIS IS THE PLACE, the Menu says SEASONED TO PERFECTION,… is QUITE FACTUAL. I don’t like heavily salted food and THIS ESTABLISHMENT STANDS BY: SEASONED TO PERFECTION..

The food is hands down delicious. The wait times are atrocius and the service was horrible. We were there 2 hours and only got 1 drink refill we had to ask for, we didn’t get silverware until our food had already came, and the waitress didn’t seem to know (or care) to check on our table or to even bring the check. Food took almost 2 hours to get to our table, but I can’t say a single bad thing about the taste, seasoning, portion size, or quality of food. I want to love it and go back again and try everything they had to offer, but the service and wait really leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Our food was exceptional, especially the sides. I had collard greens…I have eaten them all my life but these were the best I’ve ever eaten! They were great! I also had the Jalapeño Mac and Cheese! Wonderful! Really cheesy with just the hint of Jalapeño! Not too spicy at all but real flavorful. The fried chicken I had was very good but for me, it was the sides! It took a while for the food to come out but that was because of the chicken – it was hot! Beautiful facility and the service was good. I recommend thus place!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The food was incredible!! I had chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, and greens. The greens were the BEST I’ve ever had. Husband had shrimp and grits and they were also incredible! Large portions and everything was perfectly seasoned. GO!

Great experience. Waitress was very pleasant. Serving portions were good. Everything tasted great. Ox tails over rice, Mac and cheese and collard greens. I recommend and will definitely return.
