This is the cutest little magical place with vegan goodies and fairy houses, beautiful jewelry, and really lovely people. The food is pretty simple and well done … but the desserts particularly amazing.

An absolute gem of a place. I’m not even a vegan, a friend of mine is–but the pastries are as good as you’ll find anywhere else. I worked in a bakery for years, and I’ve never seen cakes decorated as gorgeously as the ones made in-house. It’s a mystical, fun, cozy setting with cool, artsy jewelry and discussion pieces for sale in addition to delicious cookies and pastries. The owner works hard not just to maintain a lovely setting but to engage in community-building where groups can meet in the back parlor and discuss poetry or assorted interests over coffee and sweets (if you’re part of a group, order the High Tea Trays!! very fancy and super delicious). A great place to bring a casual date or a friend or family member for breakfast or lunch or to order a beautiful cake from!! Thanks so much for adding color and warmth to the community and for being such a welcoming host!! :]

Such an adorable place. The fairy houses and jewelry are that of a fairy tale. Every element has a personal, home-made touch. Food is great and the owner is lovely.

What a gorgeous bakery – and the desserts are delicious! We just moved up here from Manhattan and are so happy to have a vegan spot right in town. The little fairy houses and local art make this shop so charming and lovely. This will easily become one of our favorite go-to places in the neighborhood.

Enjoyed one of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had in my life from glitter thicket on Sunday 10/16. It was a chocolate cupcake with icing and cherry on top. Everything from here is so delicious!!

Cute place off the beaten path. Local art and unusual items that capture your curiosity. Small menu but good vegan brunch The cupcakes and cookies are great! (Especially the pumpkin caramel!) Worth a try, vegan or not, .

Absolutely enchanted to have discovered this magical hidden gem on tiny little Burd Street, one block south of Main Street in Nyack. Excellent coffee and a luscious vegan tempeh bacon, Just Egg and vegan cheese breakfast sandwich on whole wheat was exactly what I craved, and it tasted as good as, or better than, the non-vegan version. The owner, Larisa, was charming and personable, and our party enjoyed chatting with her about local artists whose work is for sale there. And Larisa herself makes the delightful fairy houses that spangle the perimeter of this cozy cafe. We are going to make this a regular stop on our Nyack route!
