Reviews
We ordered the mushroom app and the potato skin app. The mushrooms were so greasy that’s all you could taste. The “potato skins” were actually potato wedges with nacho cheese and bacon bits.
My entree was steak tips, which I ordered rare, but receive medium well, with a side of canned green beans and what looked like yesterday’s mashed potatoes.
My husband ordered the beef tacos which had very little flavor to them, and the meat looked like frozen meatballs that had been chopped up.
might give it another try some day, but I don’t know.
Came to the area from the Midwest and stopped at Glenn’s Place because of online reviews and YouTube suggestions.
-Glenn Himself is very nice and attentive to his patrons.
– the food was top notch. Had the lobster flatbread one day, Scampi another time and the Lobster Bisque on another visit.
Yep- stopped by 3x because the place is legit!
Yes- I went to other places too if you’re wondering, but I kept coming back.
My husband ordered a burger, the only option is “build your own,” so there’s little creativity with the menu there. However, it was cooked perfectly medium, which is a rare find!
I got the the “best ever meatloaf.” And while it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t good and definitely not the best ever. My grandmother’s definitely blows it out of the water. It is loaded with green peppers if you are into that. The gravy was nice, it went well with the crinkle fries. My cocktail was good, but not strong. Take that as you will.
Finally, my son got the kids chicken tenders. It was also exactly what you would expect, which is fine for a 4 year old. So, overall it just fell flat.
I had a lobster stew that had a few chunks of lobster and some gross strange sauce.
My wife had an entrée with some gross green beans and flavorless mashed potatoes.
Don’t be afraid to use the spice rack my friends. Don’t be afraid.
The fish tacos were a bright spot.
I wouldn’t go back. I’m sorry.
NICELY DONE…CAME HOME WITH LEFT OVERS
Lobster Mac and cheese and this photo does no Justice. IT IS BIGGER than a chili bowl…
Huge and left overs we took home…There soft pretzels are PA style one big pretzel the size of your plate with cheese and mustard….Yum was the word..Oh and Wonderful Drinks THANKS FOR A GREAT DINNER
The place, virtually anytime I ride by is really busy. Now, to be fair, new places typically do well the first few weeks. But I happen to ride by early on, during a “soft”open and parking lot was packed and spilling over into the Rite Aid entrance. Whatever marketing they are using, keep it up. It’s working.
The place was spotless clean, I mean, seriously eat off the floor clean.
Which brings me to the next point, the decor was simple and seafood/ocean life decorated, but tasteful not overboard or tacky. The mermaids, merhorses, etc were great. Nice touch. From what I was told from someone who had been there previously before it was Glenn’s, it was a 360 turnaround. From picnic tables and a run down bar to nice place to take your family for a meal. Also a section for private parties and a seperate pub.
The food and drinks was quite adequate as well. I had a standard burger and it was cooked just the way I requested. My friend had the Lobster Mac and Cheese, and she said there was too much lobster! What ta? I didn’t think that was possible,
Finally, the wait staff was polite, fast and really on top of it. They brought this review to the 5 star level.
All and all, great experience for the first visit, I plan on returning and if you haven’t already, check out Glenn’s Place.
