I came in with 3 friends and I read the fish and chips were good, well let me agree they are very good.
We sat at the bar and relaxed, had a drink and ordered our food. There was only the bar tender working the main floor and she was doing a very good job. Don’t be in a hurry or rude. Pretend you are in Europe and relax.
The food was very good and I liked the bread pudding. It was different, not in a bad way, I make bread pudding at home and this is more of a huge slice of French toast with a sauce.
I really enjoyed the fish and chips as well as the bread pudding. I can’t wait to come back and get a Rubin as I heard this was good as well. I will probably order the bread pudding again as well, just wish it had some chocolate chips or heath bar baked into the bread. That would have been next level.

Spent time with my coworkers Saturday, we had a late breakfast. The restaurant atmosphere and the neighborhood of Glendale was quaint and welcoming.
I had an ham and veggie omelet with potatoes and rye bread. Simple but delish! Everyone at my table was quite pleased with their meals and are looking to return in the very near future.

Visited on Thursday 12/11/25. my two friends and I got there just before 6:00 p.m. we were the only people on the first floor. The bartender, an older brunette lady, proceeded to ignore us for at least 15 minutes while doing busy work on her register . She finally took our orders and 10 minutes later we got three beers. Mind you, we were the only people in the first floor and we were sitting at the bar. We had tickets to see a movie in Springdale at 7:00 p.m, after serving our beers she disappears for another 15 minutes and comes back and says I’ll take your orders in a few minutes and disappears for another 15 minutes. We finally got our food, we all got the same thing, the fish and chips however only one of us got the coleslaw that was included in the item on the menu. We didn’t have time to argue we ate and wanted to get a second beer. It took so long to get the second beer that we were able to take about two sips of it before leaving. We showed up to our movie 15 minutes late. This lady needs to do a better job of customer service. Based on that last experience I will not be back.

The dinner was so good , the shrimps with fries and finger cheese and the drinks were amazing!!! The music so cool in the second floor , the Manager Mr. Ken Dippold was so kind and we got a great conversation!!! Highly recommended definitely this place!!

Cozy place to visit with friends or to take out of town guests. The railroad tracks are right next to the building but they are quiet due to no horn restriction.

Food was bland, at least the fish and chips, definitely worse since changing ownership. Beers tasted off like lines haven’t been cleaned. Service was par for the place. Plenty of trains to watch.
