I can’t speak highly enough of the incredibly kind staff and skilled chefs at Glen Alpine Station – we unexpectedly lost our dog of almost 14 years last week and I’m not ashamed to say we ate here 3 times in less than a week. When you have no appetite due to grief, it really says a lot when the food hits and brings comfort. The coffee is delicious and the variety of options are wonderful, the menu is fantastic and everything was so fresh and tasty. The restaurant interior is sweet and the decor is lovely; with lots of houseplants to bring in a cozy feel.
Each dish was great, we went for breakfast twice and lunch once. Thank you all so much for being a bright spot during a difficult start to the year. Everyone go check out their menu, and bring a friend or 5! There are so many great options to try there.✨️

We saw that the Glen Alpine Station was doing a soft opening this week so we thought we would give it a try. We went for a Sunday morning breakfast. The location has a fresh makeover and looks nice inside. The menu is short but does cover all the breakfast basics. Service was quick and attentive. Food was served quickly and as ordered. I had hash n eggs while my wife had a made to order omelette. This is definitely a place that we will visit again a welcome new addition to Glen Alpine

Cute, clean and welcoming dinner with a nostalgic yet modernized look. The menu features a traditional fare with a few spin offs and espresso-based drinks. I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes BLT and macchiato. I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in town.

Local restaurant that is worth the try. Was in the town visiting and was surprised by the food as the location is low key. Everyone enjoyed the food and it’s worth the stop. The staff was great and attentive.

Ordered the cheeseburger and a ham panini. The onion slice was the butt end of the onion cut 1/2 in down to 1/4 ( not even across). Also got butt end of a tomato. Did even cut the lettuce, just put a whole leaf that was twice the size of the sandwich. The panini was not toasted. The bread was moist and cold, ended up taking it home and throwing it out. Will not be returning to this place. The chef wasn’t busy, only 2 other couples besides us.

We try to give new restaurants a few months before we try them so they can get settled and work out any kinks. We were eager to try Glen Alpine Station because of its location and quaint building. Being a local, we support smaller places and avoid the franchises. We decided to visit for brunch and when we arrived at 9:30, we were 1 of 2 couples there. The dining room is nice, very clean and comfortable. We were greeted by our server, seated, quickly given menus and our drink order taken. Our drinks were served and we asked for a few additional minutes to review the menu since this was our first visit. Some time went by before our server returned, but it wasn’t due to her lack of attention, it was because she also made the specialty drinks and coffee for others. She apologized for the delay and our order was placed. Our food came in a timely manner and had a very nice presentation. Things seemed to go down hill a bit after that unfortunately. My friend had ordered an entree of Corned Beef Hash, eggs, potatoes and a biscuit. I had the Sausage Gravy biscuits. The gravy on the biscuits was cold, as bites were refrigerator cold. The taste was nice, but I am a stickler for hot or at least warm food. My friend said his food was between warm to hot. The food was fresh, but again, would have been much better hot. A large crowd came in while we were eating and we could tell that the server was very overwhelmed, to the point that we felt sorry for her. But, she was attentive to us and I am sure did her best. There were some errors in our check that we had to bring to her attention. So, all in all, we enjoyed our meal there, but probably will not go back.
