⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I came to the Glass Lounge to meet a gentleman for a job interview over lunch, and from the moment we walked in, the experience was top-notch. We were immediately greeted by the owner, Andy, who welcomed us warmly and made sure we were taken care of.

The hostess who sat us had an incredible personality—friendly, upbeat, and clearly someone who enjoys what she does. I mentioned that I hadn’t been in for a long time, not since the ownership change, and she told me she’s been there for 24 years. That kind of longevity says everything about the quality of the place behind the scenes.

Our server, Kristin, was just as impressive. She got us our menus, drinks, and checked in often without ever interrupting. Excellent service all around.

We both ordered burgers, and they were absolutely amazing. I added mushrooms to mine and went with the sweet potato fries—both were perfect. The lunch crowd was packed, which only reinforced that the food is consistently good if that many people choose to eat there midday.

Overall, it was a great atmosphere, great service, and great food. I would definitely return and confidently recommend the Glass Lounge to anyone. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

If you’re looking for a great steak and a fantastic value, you will be hard-pressed to do better than The Glass Lounge! For the price the portions are extremely generous, and the staff is very attentive and accommodating. I had the prime rib (available on Friday’s) with 2 sides for $45, and added scallops for $18. I ordered a cup of the soup special for the day which was a very rich and creamy seafood chowder for $6, and a plate of breaded mushrooms for $8, plus a margarita. The total bill came in at under $100 and there was more than enough to take home for lunch the next day. Although the atmosphere was a little dated, the establishment was well-attended which is always a good sign of quality, and the meal did not disappoint! When I come back visiting Harrisburg I would not mind coming back to give this restaurant my patronage again. Don’t sleep on it and miss out!

Seriously wonderful food! I had the 8oz tenderloin with lobster & bacon on it, which was phenomenal!! The salad that came with it stated it had a “mountain of carrots” on it, & that’s a fact! The poppyseed dressing was perfect and I couldn’t have been happier! The steak was ordered medium rare and in fact, it was. Cool red center & scrumptiously seared outside. I’m a happy customer! I’ll definitely be back for the Prime Rib Friday which I was told about by frequent customers who sat next to me at the full capacity bar. They had a steady wait the entire time I was there, Saturday night.

My husband and I stopped in to enjoy a steak dinner while kid free. It was huge. We got the super sirloin. Its was perfectly cooked. I love the salad. I could come here just to eat the salad every day.

Were there on Valentine’s Day, service was undertanably slower than normal but what you would expect. The food was amazing! I had baked seafood combo. Scallops were perfect, shrimp were amazing, crab cake was more crab than cake and seasoned so you could taste the crab. Fish was done just right, flaky and flavorful.
The place was very loud but that’s not the restaurant fault.

Girlfriend and I went out on a nice dinner date. Gf wanted a burger and she tore it up. I really wanted a balance of seafood and steak. Our waitress pointed me in the the direction of a shrimp and scallop appetizer and then I landed on a 6oz sirloin medium well. It came out well done but it didn’t stop me from complaining with the tenderness and flavor. My gf does not eat well done steak but she said it was very impressive the delivery of the steak.

An Unforgettable Steak Experience!
I recently had the pleasure of dining here for our anniversary and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, the intimate and cozy atmosphere set the perfect tone for a fantastic evening. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax and savor every moment.

Now, let’s talk about the food. We both ordered the NY Strip steak, and it was nothing short of divine. Cooked to perfection, it was generously topped with a delightful combination of blue cheese crumbles and succulent lobster claw meat. The richness of the blue cheese, the tender steak, and the sweet lobster created an explosion of flavors that I won’t soon forget. It was easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had.

To complement the meal, I tried one of their hazelnut espresso martinis, and let me tell you, they were absolutely amazing! Smooth, rich, and with just the right kick, they were the perfect way to cap off such a delicious dinner.

If you’re looking for a restaurant with an incredible steak, a wonderful ambiance, and exceptional cocktails, this is the place to go. I can’t wait to return!

Went to the lounge last saturday night with some friends. The atmosphere is kinda like a bar restaurant. was cozy and homey, but very loud. We all ordered the tenderloin with a salad and a order of mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat. The salad comes and has a ENOURMOUS amount of shredded carrots on it, im not sure why? is that their thing there? someone should tell you about that before ordering. There was almost more carrots than lettuce, this was not a good salad to start with. The mushrooms came out and i thought that was really not to appealing for a $20 appetizer, however i will say the mushrooms had ALOT of crabmeat in them and no filler, so it was well worth it. The crabmeat was good, but they really didnt have flavor or wow factor for a appetizer. Then our main coarse game. I was very confused when the steaks came. We all order the same steak, however The womens steaks were one piece of meat, and the mens steaks were the same size only cut horizontaly and then cooked on both sides of each piece, its like if something is cooked well done they slice it side ways to cook it faster. That is the sign of someone in the kitchen who does not know what they are doing. Why are the steaks sliced differently on different plates going to the same table when we all ordered the same steak. I ordered mine medium rare and it came out well over done. I had to send mine back so everyone at the table got to eat their food while i sat that waiting for new steak. then my steak came out about 10 minutes later after everyone else was finished eating, so really took away from the dining experience. With all the steaks being made and as busy as it was there should have been one made on the fly and i shouldnt of had to wait more than 2 mins or so for new steak. and before anyone comments on that, i have worked in kitchens and know how a busy steak restaurant works. Strange enough though when my proper steak came out , which was more on the rare side than medium rare, it was one piece and not two. The steak was mediocre , nothing to write home about. People might think im being critical but when your paying about 35 bucks for a 8 oz steak somewhere that is known for thier steaks, i expect it to be cooked correctly and perfect. To wrap it up the service staff was very nice and i would say attentive as the restaurant was very busy with people waiting. To wrap it up i will say that it was not a horrible meal, however the quality of food for the price paid, i will never go back again. Also they should learn you dont send different cut up steaks to table that all look different and sliced up when the same steak is ordered for all 4 in the party. makes no sense and shows inexperience or someone who is just rushing in the kitchen. would recommend going somewhere else.
