Great local bar that warmly accepts tourists passing through. We had a blast having local beer and playing pinball. Bartenders were great and the picked eggs come in a dog bowl!

GREAT neighborhood bar. If you are tired of brightly lit, cold, loud bars filled with 100 TVs playing all different sports, and instead would like more of a “Cheers” bar kind of bar… where the locals go to hang out, unwind and just relax with a cold beer or cocktail, then I would definitely recommend Glass Bar. It may not look like much from the outside… but on the inside we were warmly welcomed, promptly attended to and were able to hang out with friends (and actually hear each other speak ), play a game of pool, darts or pinball. We were just passing thru town on vacation… but when we are in the area again… we will definitely be back!

This is the place I like to go to the most to hang out in town. If you want to go to a dive bar with a great atmosphere in the stiff pour, look no further. The only food available that at this place that I know of are pickled eggs and chips, but that’s not what you’re here for anyway. The bartender’s all have great attitudes and have been there for years, adding to the atmosphere driving a culture of loyal clientele. Try the Bloody Mary if you’re looking for something different

What a dump. The building should be condemned. The drinks are very inconsistently made and every time I have been to this place there has been a fight.
If your only goal is to ger plastered off cheap drinks then this might be a good place for you, otherwise you might want to choose a better establishment to give your business to.

We walked down to this bar from my friend’s house for a quick shot. The girl at the door wouldn’t let us in to take a shot and leave without paying a cover fee. This is a tiny dive bar in a creepy area. We walked in in sweats. It was obvious we weren’t staying and it wouldn’t have been that difficult to just watch us take the shot and make sure we either left after or paid the cover charge. Unfortunately they decided they wanted to throw away $15-$20 in drinks over $6. We weren’t paying that much for one drink. We decided to go to another place. It was well worth leaving. They were playing some weird techno music anyway. Lol I just thought the whole thing was weird and off-putting. I know I’ve had fun here in the past though. Years ago. I don’t really remember it so that’s how I know it was fun. Lol

Great place to have a drink or two. Popcorn is free, makes me want to have another drink. The tear off pickle cards are a good way to generate tips for the bar maid. Sometimes you even win a few dollars to take home.
