This was our first time here and we were truly impressed. The hostess was awesome, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. There’s outside seating as well. I had the hand breaded chicken stripes y husband had fish and chips. Three breading was the best I’ve ever had and the chicken was tender and juicy. The prices are average for this area. They have a happy hour menu for Sun-Thurs that’s for lots of choices. We will definitely return.

Happened to be in the area and went here based off the reviews. The food was excellent! We’re a family who all seem to enjoy different tastes, so it’s a struggle to find somewhere we all enjoy. This place really does have something for everyone! I got the tacos and my husband got the crispy chicken wrap. Everything was delicious and prices were very reasonable! I’m looking forward to trying the pastas & my husband will most certainly get the steak next time around. It is street parking only, but we went at 6pm on a Friday night and only had to walk one block. We were also seated right away and received friendly, attentive service. This may very well be our new go-to restaurant! A hidden gem.

I got the Southwest chicken wrap Thursday around 3pm. The chicken was cooked over well and extremely dry. It really took away from the rap and the flavor of it.
The fries and the honey mustard were good.
Service was great.
The prices were fantastic
The restaurant seem to have a really good atmosphere.

Gladstone Gem – A Local Favorite Worth the Stop
I stopped by to catch up with some friends in Gladstone and ended up discovering a true local gem. Around the five o’clock hour, the place was already filling up with regulars—clearly a beloved neighborhood spot. You could feel the good energy the moment you walked in—laughter, friendly chatter, the amazing smell of food in the air.
The happy hour specials were impressive, especially the Bloody Marys, which were hands-down some of the best I’ve had. Strong, flavorful, and made with care.
We went with the wings and couldn’t resist ordering not one, but two servings of esquites. They were that good—warm, buttery, super yummy and totally addictive. Should’ve taken a gallon to go!
What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were genuinely warm and upbeat, clearly taking pride in knowing their regulars and making newcomers feel welcome.
Small town charm, great drinks, comfort food, and an atmosphere full of good vibes. I’ll definitely be back.

If you’re looking for the perfect happy hour spot in PDX, Gladstones is IT!
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by some of the sweetest servers and a kick-ass bartender who knows how to keep the good vibes going. The booths are clean and comfortable, and if you’re a sports fan, you’ll love that they have games playing everywhere–bonus points for having women’s lacrosse on! That alone had me sold.
Now, let’s talk about the food. The tacos and quesadilla were bright, vibrant, and packed with flavor–the chicken was seasoned to perfection with a chipotle sauce that was to die for!!❤️
The pulled pork sliders were fresh and tender, topped with some of the best BBQ sauce I’ve ever had–sweet with just the right kick.
And whatever you do, don’t sleep on the poutine! As a Canadian delicacy, it’s not easy to get right, but they freaking nailed it!!
On top of all that, their happy hour prices are some of the fairest around, making it an easy 20/10. We’ll absolutely be back. If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor and go! ❤️

We’ve been here a few times in the last few months and are always happy. The roasted red pepper soup was amazing! The other dishes were all super tasty. The service is always quick and kind. The food has always been fast but also very well plated and tasty. Even though one half is a bar, the all age dining area is not loud. Street parking was plentiful.

This was my first time eating here. I had the $10 eggs, sausage and pancake special. The service and selection was excellent. The coffee was hot and strong, the eggs were fluffy and delicious, and the sausage was homemade and cooked perfectly. The pancakes were very tasty and filling. The entire experience was very enjoyable.

Sometimes the food is really good but sometimes it is really not. For the prices charged, it shouldn’t be a gamble. I’m flexible in what I’ll eat but this last meal almost felt like an insult. The meat was incredibly dry, yet the onions were cold and undercooked. The bun was shriveled and smashed and the cheese only half way melted. I’m not sure why it was even brought to my table.
It makes me sad. This town needs a restaurant just like this one could (and sometimes) be. Maybe the grill is having a problem keeping temp?
