Social Profile:

Growing up in Pittsburgh, we were surrounded by great pizza. There were neighborhood pizzerias on almost every corner, but there were only one or two whose pizza really stood out. We visited our favorites, not only because we craved the pizza, but also because we were inspired by the passion of the owners. We watched them make their sauce and dough from scratch, chop mountains of fresh veggies, and hand-slice the meats. Looking back, we realize why only one or two places were truly great; they cut no corners! Just as the neighborhood pizzerias did back then, Giuseppi’s Pizza & Pasta insists on the freshest and most authentic ingredients, we don’t cut corners. Our sauce is made fresh from California tomatoes.

Family-friendly Italian spot featuring Pittsburgh-style pizza, pasta & sandwiches, plus sports TV.

I really wanted to love this place because I’m from Pittsburgh, but I was really disappointed. Our family of 5 was seated quickly. Our server came by and got our drink order. My husband ordered a margarita that tasted like bottled margarita mix. We ordered the mozzarella stick appetizer, and I ordered a cup of wedding soup. The wedding soup looked and tasted like canned wedding soup. I just couldn’t eat it. The mozzarella sticks were ok-tasted like boxed mozzarella sticks. We ordered two medium pizzas. They were good. We realized that there wouldn’t be enough pizza for all of us, so we ordered another medium cheese pizza. One of the food runners brought us a large cheese. When we told him that we ordered a medium, he told us that it was a medium. I pointed to the pans and said that can’t be-this pizza might be for another table. Then he said that we were given a large with no up charge. We had to wait long for our waitress to refill our drinks. It seemed like she was covering too many tables. We asked for the check, and she told us that she didn’t even know that we got our other pizza. This hi lights issues at this restaurant. We would have been waiting a very long time for that pizza and she didn’t even check to see what was taking so long. So strange. The first two pizzas were nice and crispy. The last pizza that came out wasn’t cooked for long enough-it was doughy and a completely different texture than the others. It was weird to have such different experiences with the same dishes during one visit.

It seems like the wait here is always long and for good reason. It’s a fun, family friendly place to get pizza and subs (hoagies).

Went for early dinner takeout. Placed an order at the restaurant- 1 hour wait for the food. Pizza, salad and wedgie was good, wings were decent nothing outstanding. Need to put a Philly Cheesesteak Wedgie on the menu! Decent prices.

We visited the Hilton Head location of this local favorite on a Sunday afternoon (around 3pm) in mid December. I expected the place to be really busy, but we were able to get seated in a booth right away. The menu has plenty of options; we chose their award winning pizza and buffalo wings. And everything we ordered was delicious! The pizza had a hint of cornmeal on the bottom of the crust that added just the right amount of crispness! The wings were flavorful without being overly spicy. The food was so good that we had nothing left for a to-go bag!

Came here for a quick lunch on Monday. Was delicious. Wife had the cauliflower crust pizza which she said was great and I had the cheeseburger hoagie- also amazing. Highly recommend. This is our new Monday lunch spot for sure!

My second time having pizza and it was delicious. Ordered the Giuseppi’s Special both times. Nice Pittsburgh themed establishment. We had linner about 2:30 and the place was pretty busy. Staff was attentive and pleasant to deal with.

Absolutely loved the food here. We got here pretty late because we had missed most of our day dealing with an illness. They seated us promptly and served us right away. The waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were going to order the garlic bread, but she suggested an alternative that was absolutely delicious. (Fried dough drops.) Their calzones are amazing as well as their pasta with meatballs. We also got meat sauce on our pasta, and it was worth the additional charge.

Ordered a medium veggie pizza with sausages on half and an order of calamari (appetizer). Our order was placed at 9:16, we were told it would be ready in 45 minutes. It was very busy inside so my husband and I (as well as patrons who had place orders before and after us) waited outside for our food. We patiently waited as we watched employees bring prepared orders out to people that were waiting as we were. We didn’t have a large order, and the restaurant closes at 10:00, so we figured they would be out with our food shortly. At 10:16 my husband decides to go in and see what the hold-up was. There was no one on the pick up side to be found and our food was sitting in the warmer. Would have been nice if they let us know this or brought it out like they did for others. Only to return to the hotel (3 minutes away from the restaurant) with cold pizza, slightly burnt calamari with No marinara, garlic sauce or lemon wedge(s). Major disappointment after reading some nice reviews. Waiting 45 minutes was a problem. The problem is what we received after waiting an hour. The was good, but cold.

It was okay! My salad was good. Pesto kale pizza was good. Burger and fries were decent but the fries had definitely been sitting around. My daughter didn’t like her ravioli. The other one’s butter sauce rigatoni tasted pretty plain. Best thing about this place was the amount of food we got for a pretty good price but we still spent $65 for 4 people. But we got a fair amount of food.
