Where do I start? I must give a huge shoutout to my girlfriend for putting us on. We popped in yesterday for couples date night. Prior to our visit we reviewed the menu and were pretty excited about the menu.
The restaurant is nice, with amazing decor. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were top tier. Shoutout to Deb our waitress who was amazing.
Now, the food, let’s get in it. We ordered a lot. The scallops with lobster risotto, salads, buffalo shrimp, long hots, crab cake, seafood Pescatore, halibut, French fries, asparagus, sweet potatoe mash, ice cream, peanut butter something, sorbet, etc. We went hard and everything was delicious.
I usually take pictures but we were too busy eating so I only have one. No worries, I’ll be back to update my review with pictures. If you are in the area stop by you will not be disappointed.

The drinks were outstanding. Chocolate Covered Pretzel (pictured) & Salted Carmel.
Dinner: I had the Filet & crab cake. It was delicious, the filet was cooked perfectly for medium rare. The hubby had the 16oz blackened ribeye special, cooked medium, he ate every last bite.
The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and cozy, the noise level was low giving us the opportunity to talk without shouting. The bathrooms were clean and bright. Service was prompt and friendly without being overbearing.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. I started with the oyster sampler—so fresh and delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the lunch special ($20): a perfectly cooked chicken cutlet with vodka sauce, a side of penne, and a fresh salad. Everything was flavorful and well prepared.
I also had two cosmopolitan martinis, and they were mixed perfectly! I took home the escarole and meatball soup, and it was just as delicious. Highly recommend this place—great quality and great value!

Have been here a few times for dinner and parties. Sat outdoors, and it was really nice and quiet. The server, Jana, was friendly, polite, and pleasant. Amazing drinks, appetizers, and food! I recommend the maple glazed salmon and veal chop parmigiana, and they were delicious. Highly recommend and make sure to make a reservation. I had a great night, and I definitely will come back.

We had a party for 50+ people. We were able to choose a menu that included entrées for every palate. The room was decorated fabulously, and we added our own personal touches. I recommend Giumarelo’s for parties, and always for dinner. This was the second party we have had at Giumarelo’s; and it will not be the last.

I usually love this place and don’t have a bad thing to say about it! I will say the hostess and I guess the manager by the outdoor patio were so rude like so rude! We had a bigger table and I know the main dining room was full and the outdoor was full but they told us on the phone the bar area was first come first serve and there was a bunch of tables so we asked if we could get a table of 8 and they told us no they can’t push tables together! That was fine so we asked if we could do two tables of four and we would do separate checks since it was two different tables there was a bunch of tables of four in the bar area and he rudely looked at us and said no all these tables are account for and it will take over an hour even tho it’s first come first serve no reservations for the bar area! He was just rude and discriminating against us he didn’t want us to be sat! Honestly I was so angry so I went to the front hostess and asked it there was a wait for four and she said no they had plenty of tables and she sat us in the bar area and then my mom went and got another table of for in seconds! So honestly check in on your management because he is so disrespectful and turning away customers for no reason! I come to gbar all the time and now I am so mad I most likely won’t!

Unfortunately the food was just fair. The breadbasket that they serve at the beginning of the meal had soggy bread in it. A person at our table ordered the salmon and it looked like it had been smashed down by a brick. We were served the house salad at dinner, the tomatoes were squishy and the lettuce was limp.
Service was just okay…. A bit curt at times.My husband had contacted the restaurant prior to us going for a birthday dinner and asked that a candle be put into a piece of dessert to surprise me at the table. When that didn’t happen, my husband asked the server what happened to the surprise birthday candle, she just stated well ,just pick something out and we’ll stick a candle in it. Of course this ruined the whole surprise.
Lastly, we were seated in the back near the kitchen doors where the servers were going in and out to run food and to put dirty plates on a large tray there. Unfortunately, they were throwing the plates there and making a lot of loud noise. When I asked a floor manager at the restaurant to ask them to not throw the plates he said ” we’re busy “…. Not exactly great customer service. I feel that the reputation is overrated and there are a lot of other very good restaurants in the area in which we can enjoy the food.
