Quality traditional pizza.
You can tell they take pride in their product. Great sauce with fresh herbs. Very nice and crispy crust and good cheese. Very crispy,saucy,and cheesy just how it should be! This is by far the best pizza I have had in the area. 10/10 recommend.

My wife and I stopped in for a late evening supper. We had a medium cheese pizza. We were very surprised at just how good it was. Can’t say enough about it. If you are in Nashville IL and want a pizza, go here! You won’t be disappointed!!!

I heard of this place years ago but failed to check it out. I heard they may be related to the owners of a restaurant I knew years ago in Cahokia call Antonio’s Pizzeria.
The pizza tasted like i remembered 20 years ago.
Raviolis were delicious.
Garlic knots- excellent

If they are not related, then they came from the same part of Italy.

In 5-6 years I’ve only had 1 pizza I really wasn’t totally satisfied with. All that wrong with the one I wasn’t satisfied with didn’t have the sauce and meat and cheese all the way to the edge. There was almost 2 inches from the edge to the sauce and meat and cheese. Even after that happened we’ve been back several times and haven’t had any issues.

I’m so glad I found this place. After a long day of driving, I was hungry for a great pizza. I was not disappointed, the flavor was the best I had tasted in years. It was worth the 10 hour drive for pizza. The staff was friendly and attentive to refills of drinks. Area clean and decorated like an Italian restaurant. Parking was right outside the door. No waiting to order and not very long for our pizza to be brought to the table.

Traveling through to St. Louis and looked for a quick bite around 730pm decided to give Girolamo a try.
Was seated right away, our server Jennifer was WONDERFUL!
She was friendly, service was quick and ZERO complaints!!
We ordered apps and pizza and they arrived quick and hot!
The Garlic knots were amazing when they arrived to the table I thought there was alot of Butter but it was tasty and I would definitely order again.
The Connoli was good, reminded me of pizza bites and missing the Italian flavor I’m use to.
The Pizza we order..the crust was what is hard to find anywhere that I’ve had pizza..it was crispy and crunchy like a cracker crust, the vegetable toppings looked fresh cut except for the mushrooms, the meats were good.
The sauce of the pizza may be great to some but to me lacked the homeade flavor I was looking for.
All in all good local place to get a quick bite.

Hands down the best pizza place around. We drive an hour each way just to enjoy the pizza and family who own it. We have enjoyed the pizza since I was a young child when Sam made it in Herrin Il. This place is amazing!!!!

Stopped here on a whim while staying in town.. the pizza was ok.. We ordered thin and crispy and the crust seemed premade, however the toppings where fresh and the sauce was really good. We ordered focaccia as an appetizer, but it was more like cheesey bread sticks, still good tho.

Nostalgic for us as children we visited and now as adults were able to return. We enjoyed a sausage & pepperoni pizza; love the cracker crust and sweet sauce. Service was good, authentic Italian family restaurant.
