Housemade breads & pastries plus hot & cold sandwiches in a casual cafe setting.

Best ham and cheese croissant I’ve had it inspired me to bake my own. Their lattes are pretty good as well! I’ve been going to this place for years and the guys that work there have been nothing but kind to me!

Terrific bakery with an open kitchen design. You can smell the bread and other delicious croissants, Danish, and muffins being baked while you enjoy your coffee and pastry. The pastries are actually better than many of the baked goods you can find at more traditional bakeries in Little Italy (but with a more limited menu).

Good food but hostile service. The owners/worker are visibly frustrated when you order coffee.
Went with a few other people who ordered food- I just had a drink and was sitting with them. Not busy, after lunch rush. Owner told me coffee was to go and told me leave, while rest of group stayed. It would have been one thing if he was polite about it, or there wasn’t space- but it was a glare and an order to get out. It was pretty embarrassing.
My first negative review I’ve submitted on google. Won’t go back.

Beautiful pastries, chai and coffee! Will be back!
* I’ve come here every year the past three years because it’s close to the clinic. I’ve delved into the sandwiches this year, and they are exceptional. I can not recommend this place enough. I’m a pastry chef and baker myself and consider this place a hidden gem for sure. Their quality and technique in their products are truly special! *

The food is good, but the owner is incredibly rude. Two of us ordered lunch and had a friend meet us who had her own lunch. He raised his voice and said “are you seriously eating someone else’s food in here? This isn’t a cafeteria. You need to leave” Just super unnecessary especially as there were already two paying customers. I don’t know how this place stays in business with that type of treatment.

Best people best food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe the food is so great.!!! Grandpa is old and still lworks at this age making this yummy delicious bakery food.!!!!!!! I do not think they are rude at all!!!! It is a small bakery, literally providing worlds best pastries, run by two people, so either you wait or don’t, regardless, I cannot stop going there.! Such amazing food. I cannot believe that at this age, not only does he bake but has the best baked food in the country after travelling a lot. It’s a grandpa’s place, so he works as fast he can. We not only ate here everyday but bought a lot of food to take away..

This place really has such an opportunity to actually be life-changing for people as it’s right across the street from a hospital… tragically, the staff prefer to kick patrons out of their *empty* cafe who have just spent nearly $40 on coffee and pastries instead of providing a safe and welcoming place for customers to recharge.
The croissant was one of the best I’ve ever had — enjoyed on the sidewalk as the owner refused us seats inside — which is what saved this review from 1 star. We all got drinks, we bought pastries, a family member was on an all-liquid diet having treatment and was grateful to have a hot coffee but we were told to get out; I can’t stomach ever going back to this angry establishment.

The older man at the front counter was rude. I asked if they had non dairy alternatives for milk and he informed me “we don’t have coffee today, and we don’t care.” I repeated his statement and he informed me that they don’t care that they don’t have coffee because they are not a coffee shop, “that is not what we do here”. I did not take it further, I just walked out. The bakery smelled great, very buttery and the smell of croissants, but being gluten and dairy intolerant, I didn’t buy anything. I do not recommend going to this café, especially if you’ve driven four hours and would just like a nice cup of coffee.

Rude all around came in for a coffee while i wait on my meds at the pharmacy literally was about to do a daily blog about a cute little cafe so i order my drink and he makes a smart comment about this being a food place and as i sit to enjoy he yells at me and says he only seats people who buys food and told me i could “get up and just leave” if i didn’t have to wait on my things i would’ve never even stopped at this place never even thought of it all the time i lived here never even stopped by to check. 0/10 terrible. Watery drinks for 9 bucks?? And bad customer service. Shut this place down.

The visible unsanitary conditions behind the counter, and the “racist and misogynistic” (by his own admission, caught on video once he started harassing us) old man who must own this failing business should be enough to deter anyone. Don’t go here.
We placed our order and sat down, and our little sister joined us for her lunch break for 10 minutes just to say hello. We’d just spent upwards of $40 on food and drinks, but the man behind the counter started harassing my baby sister to “order something.” She told him she was just here to say hi and was heading back to work. He begins harassing us and screaming at us to leave. I was horrified and began filming him. By his own admission, he yelled that he was “both” a racist and misogynist, that “you people are all the same” (I don’t know what he meant here. Who still uses language like that?) and threatened us with the police even while we were packing up our things and leaving. This is no way to run a business or interact with other human beings. We were honestly so shocked we couldn’t stop laughing.
The business is clearly failing and filthy; The men who work here touch their running noses, their phones, their zippers, and then get back to working the croissant dough. It smells like garbage. It’s always empty. I never have experiences like this in the beautiful and diverse city of Cleveland. Do NOT go here.
