I recently visited Giovanni’s Pizza in Danville, KY, and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and cheese bread, and both exceeded my expectations. The pizza was served hot and fresh, with a perfectly crisp crust, generous layers of cheese, and flavorful pepperoni that had just the right amount of spice. You can really taste the quality in every bite.
The cheese bread was also a standout—soft, warm, and loaded with melted cheese. It paired perfectly with their marinara sauce and made for a great appetizer or side.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and efficient, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. It’s clear that Giovanni’s takes pride in both their food and service. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is a spot worth visiting. I’ll definitely be returning soon.

No parking for pick up. I had to walk from the back of the building. The pizza is mediocre. I rate it the same as Pizza Hut. I ordered extra cheese, didn’t get it. I should have ordered extra sauce. The pizza was dry. I ordered sausage, couldn’t taste any. The pepperoni was average. If the people in Danville think this pizza is great, they obviously haven’t had real pizza. I won’t be back.

Ordered a baked spaghetti with garlic bread for pickup. Spaghetti was ready when promised. Food was packaged well, and there was plenty of it (2 meals out of it). The spaghetti had plenty of flavor and was loaded with cheese. Great value for the price. Highly recommend!
Updated to report that I tried the Baked Lasagna with Garlic Bread to go on my latest visit to Danville. It was delicious and more flavorful than the Baked Spaghetti…. Pics included.

Love doing the buffet. I have no issues with the food.
Servers were friendly that got you sodas kept checked up on you but not overly done.
My only complaintThey only gave out forks fairly.I like to take a better knife in my fork.And cut my salad up little finer.So it’s a little more decent.When I put it in my mouth, but hey, that’s me.

The wait staff were friendly and attentive, and the price was reasonable. About $10 for an adult buffet.
Everything else was sub par. I got there at 12:30pm and they only had 5 different types of pizza (including dessert) out. Plus there’s spaghetti in a container with half an inch of water. The pizza quality wasn’t good. I even grabbed a slice of a fresh pizza coming out and it was already dry. The salad bar has lots of toppings but the base is just finely shredded lettuce.
Sorry, I’d choose Cici’s over Giovanni’s any day.

Wonderful food and friendly service! Bathrooms were clean. My kids, grandkids and myself were all very comfortable and pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. Prices were reasonable. All around good place to eat!

I love this place it’s personally my favorite pizza place in town and if I’m being honest this specific one is my favorite place in the entire world there’s different Giovanni’s but Danvilles can’t be beat the owner the employees the dinning the food it’s all good
