14FEB25: Limited hours now Thursday 4pm – Sunday. Really enjoyed this pizza place when I first reviewed it because of the quality of food, location and open most days of the week so I knew I had meal options. I think it’s changed hands. Now the dependability, hours, quality and focus on pizza just aren’t there.
Previous review 2024. The quality of the pizza is excellent. The sauce, the cheese, hand-made crust, and the taste is not found at any chain pizza places in this combination. The outside of the business does reflect the relaxing wood worked interior.
If you’re anywhere between Tylertown, columbia, Bogalusa, Angie, Franklinton, Covington etc, you owe it to yourself to eat here.

When this place first opened, it was amazing. We have bought a lot of pizza since then. In the last few months the pizza has been coming out inconsistent, sparse toppings or maybe too much parmesan. The wings come out over or under cooked, super tiny or just right. Now the hours are inconsistent. They were open on this night – now they are not, but no update online. So you don’t know until you’re ready to order. Then you have to figure it all out again some place else. They are no longer our go-to place. It’s sad to see a good place go down hill.

Very cool place. First time party of four. Muffaletta, chicken alfredo, burger, lasagna and fries. Everything was fantastic, portions were large so I got to taste everything. One of the best Muffalettas I have had in years. The chicken parm was delicious, sauce was on point. The lasagna was very cheesy and tasty. I ordered the burger for myself, I will return for it! Side of fries, crispy and sprinkled with parm, was extra large and great. I will be back soon to try the pizza selections. One top of that, service was great.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing architect. The atmosphere is great. New Orleans legendary Chef John Flynn’s Food is amazing every time. Great prices and specials with hefty amounts of food each plate. Enjoy eating here every weekend.

Alright, I’ve had a lot of pizza in my life. Lived in Chicago, Buenos Aires, spent enough time in Europe to have a pie or two there as well. We walked into Giovannis not expecting much, just happy at how close it is to home. We walked out with pure delight at how good and unique the pizza was. They had done delicious little bread knots on the outside of the crust, which took me completely by surprise. Like the pizza addict I am I’ve been scouring across all the pizzerias in our region trying to find the best one. After one visit Giovannis has jumped up to the top of the list for best pizza spots in the state. Tied with pizza man in covington. Authenticity. Taste. Quantity. Man, this is a cool spot. I hope everyone tries it out!
