What a wonderful place to eat!!!
Incredibly good, authentic Italian food in downtown Llano! So unexpected! The restaurant is pretty narrow & quaint with tables along the walls. It was lunchtime and it was quite busy. Nonetheless service was impeccable. Everything was organized and spotless. Our server was a cousin to the owner. It seems that it’s family owned and operated. I believe everything but the desserts are scratch made. My friends Chicken Alfredo was super creamy…like velvet. My Eggplant Parmigiana was fantastic-perfectly cooked and the Marinara was better than my own!!!
We should’ve stopped then, but we just couldn’t …so we shared a generous slice of Italian Cream Cake. This restaurant is dynamite ….well worth the scenic drive!

4 1/2 stars. Ordered a Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs, and Tiramisu. The fresh rolls were to die for. Salad was fresh. Tiramisu was delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs were good but needed more flavor. Meatballs were bland. Service was excellent!

Excellent food! Had the Bruschetta and Canelloni. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area. Restaurant has multiple “Best of” plaques hanging on their wall. I want to go back and try their steaks…

This place is a hidden gem. We stop by on the way to our deer lease and always comment about how this quality of food in Austin would easily be $75+ a person. I’ve had the parm crusted steak twice now and both times were perfect. One of my favorite places to eat in the Hill Country.

What a gem! We stopped by on our way to Enchanted Rock State Park. Loved the rustic feeling of the interior. Food was incredible. Even my kids loved every bite. The garden salad is a bit basic though. Overall, I loved it. I wish I lived closer and could visit more often.

3. Pasta Al Formo was ok
4. Fettuccine Alfredo was good
5. Rigatoni Alla Vodka was the best
6. Margarita Pizza was good
The price was right for all the dishes.

Gio’s has been consistently good for years. The menu has a great variety of items, and it’s one place this foodie tries something different every time! Service is attentive, servings are large enough to take half home for another round. The soft rolls with seasoned olive oil for dipping are addictive… just don’t eat too many before your entree arrives! Highly recommend.

Exceptional!! We stopped in on the way back from a road trip and were happily surprised at the incredible food, large portions, and delicious drinks. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend checking Gio’s out when in Llano.

Feel free to order anything from the menu, the food will be fantastic.
There is one single thing we didn’t love. The Coffee was ok, maybe good, but not up to par to everything else on their menu.

The Tuscany soup was perfection. Lasagna and bread rolls were delicious. The steamed broccoli was steamed broccoli. (Gotta eat your veggies!) Excellent customer service and pleasant atmosphere. Really nice historic building with wooden floors and high ceiling. We will dine here again.
