Gio’s Flying Pizza & Pasta is a local favorite of mine and my girlfriends. The bread and oils here are absolutely A+. It’s hard to walk away not feeling like a stuffed cannoli because of all the delicious bread products.

The Gator eggs are a mixture of Mac & cheese ball & seafood crab stuffing that is well fried.

I wanted something “lighter” and got the meatball panini. The meat is well seasoned and as I mentioned above the bread is an absolute masterclass on the panini. Personally, I’d like a little more meat but the mix of meats and cheeses was very nice.

The salads are all well made and my girlfriend loved the potato soup.

The staff is attentive and polite.

My family and I love the food and family owned feeling you get here. Everything is always made fresh and definitely worth the wait when they are busy! We’ve been coming here for years and highly recommend 🙂

Atmosphere is welcoming and great, I personally feel as if it could go for more Italian theme, but it’s still plenty to enjoy. The baked ziti was a treat to enjoy, but could probably go for a bit more flavor to savor (maybe like garlic or onion, something to really bring out the taste) and the BBQ pizza is just enough to make your taste buds happy and feel like a meal. I love this place and hope to try out more things!

I typically love eating here, but tonight my boyfriend and I decided to order for take out got our meals and were exited to eat our food. The pasta seems great, however upon opening our bread from the foil that came with it, we immediately saw that our bread was ridden with mold. I am truly disgusted and disappointed. I am scared to eat the rest of my meal given the state of the bread. I understand mistakes happen, but serving molded bread should never be okay, this is either a supplier problem or staffs problem for not checking the food thoroughly. Like i initially stated, I love eating at Gio’s, but this makes hesitate any further visits. I hope this could be resolved quickly.

Edit: I reached out to Tonya, who is what I presume to be the manager there. She apologized for the mistake that was made and said to bring the food back today (as by the time I had realized the bread was bad they were already closed) when I brought it her and the head chef profusely apologized for the mistake, and remade the order for no additional charge. You could tell by the way they were talking that their apologies were as sincere as can be. Thank you Tonya, and to the chef as well for making things right.

My daughter and I were starving, and I was craving pizza. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Gio’s. The last time I ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, and it was excellent. I’ve never had the pizza here. I ordered the pepperoni and my daughter the cheese. The waiter was very attentive and got our bread and oil out quick. Thankfully, because my stomach was empty. We ordered our pizza and it was out in less than 10 minutes. Pretty good for hand tossed pizza. It was excellent. The sauce was amazing, as was the cheese and pepperoni. So very happy we stopped in. We were very pleased. My only complaint, and it’s not a deal breaker, but I would have loved to hear some great Italian music as we ate. No issue though.

I have bought a few pizzas from this place the past five months after moving to the area recently and I unfortunately am not impressed. We have had ones that were highly recommended by reviews and made sure to have them cooked as we like and was just not it. The chicken parmigiana I have tried was delicious and the salads have been good too. When dining in the service has been slow even when we have been one of the few tables sat. Orders placed over the phone are usually ready on time! I’m still wanting to give this place a chance and especially in other foods when we dine in again next time.

What a great place to enjoy some delicious pizza . I opted for a calzone, came out hot, fresh and tasted delicious. Lunch portions are pretty good size as many could have shared a plate. We had a large party of 10 and out waiter Cookie handled us without a problem. Very attentive and welcoming staff. Thanks for an enjoyable lunch. We’ll be back soon.

Geeze! Where has the Neighborhood Friendly Customer Service GONE! Girl answering the phone was not aware of the crustless option. Had to put me on hold half a dozen times To ask somebody about it. Previously, the crustless pizza has always been the aluminum to go pan, Always filled with an inch of the top and charged for a medium single topping pizza. Tonight, however I have an aluminum To Go pan that is 1 inch from the bottom still charged for a medium pizza was barely warm through the oven— Man, I miss John…
Before I order from Gios‘s again, I will absolutely walk in to see who the management staff is. So very, very disappointed in the customer service and in my food preparation—

Food was below the expectation, had to send back my chicken Gio because the chicken was over cooked and then retired the chicken which chicken was over cooked again and they put the same Alfredo from my other plate back on the new one and heated it up. Service from Lyndsie was ok when she was around and not smoking out back of the restaurant. She smelled of cigarettes bad and when service picked up she smelled bad of perfume. This place has great potential but missing cause of management.

If you’re craving some Italian food, this is definitely a place to check out. They have a great selection of pizza. We were craving pasta. I ended up ordering a salmon with a picatta sauce with artichokes and capers. The salmon was cooked perfectly! My wife got the chicken picatta…the sauce is amazing and the pasta was cooked perfectly. We ordered the caprese, which was okay, but I’ve had better at other places…it lacked flavor to me…maybe add some more balsamic. We ordered drinks as well. The service was amazing and very attentive!! Definitely recommend and can not wait for our next visit to try something else!!
