First time here, we had 6 in our party for 5:30 reservation. Sat us immediately with only 2 other occupied tables. The service was slow and unprofessional and she wasn’t a teenager. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we got there, so no excuse. Took 30 minutes to get one of our drinks and a request for a second drink was never served. We got a lot of “sorry”. We ordered garlic bruschetta. It was NOT brushetta, it was basic garlic bread. Focaccia was very plain with few spices. The menu when we arrived was shockingly limited compared to the online version….not even close. Plus there is a disclaimer that states an 18% “operations charge” which is taxable is added to the bill (even if the service is bad). Just too many negatives for this “upscale” establishment that I cannot recommend. We will not be returning. Read the reviews on Trip Advisor…..owner doesn’t care! Food is mediocre at best.

The unfortunate experiences shared in previous reviews seem to ring true. I’d advise careful consideration before supporting this business with your time and money. We had an 8:15 reservation and weren’t informed that the kitchen closed just 15 minutes later. Our slightly early arrival was met with noticeable displeasure, despite the bustling and crowded restaurant, filled with patrons showing no signs of leaving soon.

What could be better than handmade pasta, delicious wine, and a beautiful outdoor balcony? This place is incredible. Definitely worth checking out. Also their desserts are made in house – we had the chocolate torte and the tiramisu. Both were light and savory. Will definitely be back as soon as possible.

Just thought I’d chime in with a positive review. Before our meal, I read several reviews here and I didn’t know what to expect. I was half-prepared to be screamed at and thrown out of the restaurant!

Has a very nice appearance, service was friendly. Food good I can’t say great it just isn’t. Pasta carbonara kind of dry and flat tasting, lukewarm and chicken Melanese on the dry side.

Horribly, unfriendly service. The servers were rushing the entire dinner and gave no time to actually eat. Very disrespectful manager with passive aggressive tactics that really soured what was otherwise a celebratory evening for us. The food was very nice, but to be honest was over priced for what was actually served. It calls itself italian but certainly does not act like it in its hospitality and philosophy of what makes a relaxing dinner experience. I will not be recommending this place to anyone ever again in the local community. It seems other locals know how rude this establishment can be.

The food is mediocre/moderate but portions are plentiful. When seated we had to wait an unusual length of time just for cocktails, however appetizers and entrees were delivered promptly. The atmosphere/layout is decent. It gets very loud, similar to that of a high-school cafeteria. The floor plan contributes to noise from upbeat patrons. At the end of our dining experience the establishment charged an “18% operation fee” not typical of restaurants of this nature. It was not deserving of such fee. This establishment gets a C+. It’s fair to say, check out the other restaurants in the area first.

Tired trattoria run with indifferently prepared food. They had a request for a cook on the door, and that is never a good sign. Though usually the best chef cooks on Saturday night here they must have had the B lister at the ovens. The food was under seasoned and ineptly cooked—the branzino was nuked to mush, the acid balance was off in the tomato sauce and the bruschette looked like they been assembled by children. The only standout of our four entrees, each of which was dull in a different way, were the fried rosemary potatoes that were served with my fish. Charming atmosphere but who cares if you’re forking mediocre expensive food into your mouth!

Pasta was super hard, almost inedible. We are not people to send things back but my wife did because of how terrible it was. The chef / owner came running out of the kitchen and started screaming at my wife that the pasta was perfect and then told us to get out. The entire restaurant was super uncomfortable and apologizing to us. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS RESTAURANT.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a bit now and finally went today. We were not disappointed! Delicious Italian food! We started with arancini, which were great, as was the sauce they were accompanied by. My wife got the Parma panini (prosciutto, mozzarella, and tomato), and I got the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. Both excellent. Dessert was expresso and tiramisu. Again both excellent with the tiramisu made as it should be! Chef Francesco definitely knows what he’s doing and the staff was friendly and attentive as well. Highly recommended!
