Absolutely loved our first visit to Ginza! The server was prompt and extremely sweet, friendly and efficient! She made sure to ask if we had been before, and then told us to be sure to get some of the complimentary soups from the table nearby. The eggdrop soup was lovely! The Cheese Wontons were probably the BEST I’ve had anywhere including several top establishments from Columbia to Charlotte. The flakiness of the wonton shell and the well packed, creamy cheese filling was just a sheer delight!!!! The dinner servings were perfect size, made fresh to order with tender cuts of recognizable meats that were cooked perfectly as requested. We ate until full, but still had a nice portion to take home for next day leftover lunch! It honestly put Red Bowl Asian Bistro in Sandhills to shame ! The interior was clean and very simple in decor, but when my plate appeared and I tasted everything, nothing else mattered. I will take great food over gold painted dragons anyday!! We sadly live almost an hour away, but now will make the long trip just to go there then shop in Camden, while everything there is close by Ginza, and much nicer than trying to shop in the Killian Road area stores now ‍♀️… Highly Recommend this little hidden jewel!

What is all over my chicken?? It looks like whitish-brown fuzz but it’s hard to the touch. I can only assume it’s from the fryer needing the oil changed. I was denied a refund from doordash despite this obviously not being normal. It might be “harmless” but it looks foul.

Stopped here for a quick bite for lunch between jobs at work – I was surprised at the great experience. Fast, friendly service. And delicious food! I had spring rolls and steak fried rice – all fresh and wonderful. 10/10 will be back again when work brings me to beautiful downtown Camden!

We have eaten here a lot over the past decade, but since the previous owners sold it, it isn’t the same. I was refused service last night with my wife and daughter. It was 8:31, and they close at 9. We would have eaten our food and been paying by 9. But we were told that they stop seating customers at 8:30. Seriously? One minute earlier??? Horrible customer service. These photos are from a previous visit, as is the rest of this post.

Good food, and a very fair price. My family (3 of us) had steak or chicken dinners, all with zucchini, fried rice, mushrooms, and soup for $24. We can’t eat at most fast food restaurants for that cheap. I highly recommend Ginza! We ate half of our dinners before I remembered to take pictures. The servings are very generous. Most people will have to get a to-go box.

Another update: prices have gone up, but that’s expected. 3 of us ate our usual for $30, which is up by $2/plate. Service is fair, and they now have a sign on the door advising that they stop seating people 30 minutes before close.

Stopped by on the way home for lunch. The food here is excellent! Had the steak and chicken. There is unlimited yum yum sauce!! Was enough food that we each took some home for dinner. Price was the same as other places but you get more food.

The shrimp broccoli hibachi was good. The egg rolls were small but OK. The chicken wings were my least favorite. The Boston rolls were excellent. Decent spot at a decent price.

Dined in while I waited for my son’s football game to start. Down home service, food is very good. I had the soup that was offered, the Godzilla roll sushi, and the hibachi chicken with all the veggies offered. Huge portions. If I find myself in Camden again I will return.

This was our first visit to Ginza’s. It was good. We plan to plan to return. We had a Poke Bowl and Hibachi chicken. The Poke bowls were made just like we ordered and were very fresh ingredients. The Hibachi Chicken was okay…. the vegetables were soft and did not appear to be fresh.
We got there right a lunch time.

This place is great!
Such an odd mix of southern hospitality with Japanese food, but it totally works! They found a niche and they fill it well. It doesn’t try to be high-end and it doesn’t need to be because the food tastes great and for the price, there are no complaints.
The servers really hustle! I mean they are moving getting food to tables, and taking care of customers all the while maintaining that friendly neighbor attitude

The all-you-can-eat soup seemed odd at first, but my kid went back 3 times and it seemed to be very popular!

For me, I love hibachi (Teppanyaki), but most places that service “hibachi”, the food just tastes like Terriyaki, which to me is too sweet. This was very similar to the flavor you get at a Teppanyaki place.

Which I lived closer, but anytime we come to Camden in the future, this will be a stop.

OH PS… the parking STINKS LOL.
Small parking lot and not many other places to park, but on the plus side, even a very full parking lot, we only had two groups in front of for the wait! So I guess it works out.
