In a word: SQUISITO! My husband and I were traveling through the Virginia Beach area on October 11, 2025, and I was craving pizza. A quick Internet search later, I found Gino’s and we were off to an absolutely delicious casual dining experience. Shortly after being seated, two gigantic garlic knots with sauce were delivered to our table. Let me tell you, if we lived in the area I would stop in at least once a week for these alone – they are that good! Gino’s has a big menu with many wonderful options, so it took a minute for us to decide what to order (despite the fact that when we came in I was craving pizza). We ended up ordering a Mozzarella Caprese appetizer and an 18-inch Meat Lover’s Specialty Pizza. The appetizer was so pretty, I almost hated to eat it, and when the pizza came we both were shocked at how big it was. (Apparently, this is a common reaction to the size of the pizzas, per our waitress.) The pizza was quite good, and generously topped.
Our total bill, including a soda and two beers, was under $50, so pricing is quite reasonable (especially since the pizza leftovers served as lunch and dinner the next day).
If you are in the area, stop by. If you live in the area and haven’t been in yet, GO! Either way, you will be very pleased (and if you live nearby and can go regularly, I’m jealous).

Usually love Ginos, pretty underwhelming this time. Ordered a garden salad and 2 pizzas, Margherita and plain cheese. Cheese was fine, Margherita wasnt very good they used crushed and dried basil,super inconsistent with tomatoe and fresh mozz. The salad was plain, lettuce was huge , just wasnt a good eating experience. The taste of the cheese was good along with the dressing that came with the salad.

Great restaurant and super friendly staff and servers! This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Virginia Beach area for my Italian favorites. I always order the spaghetti with clams and am never disappointed- there were a ton of clams on my most recent order and they gave me a garlic knot while I waited (which truly melts in your mouth, it’s amazing)! Great flavors all around 🙂

Found this place looking for a new pizza place to try. There was no wait, we were seated, and conversed with waitress. We were brought out two garlic knots and marina while we waited. It was freshly baked. 5 mins later our crispy hot wings came out. They were so flavorful. Ranch was thick like I like it. 2 mins later our 18″ pepp. Pizza arrived. Asked the waitress for saucer plates for the wings and she was like oh that’s the pizza plates are for. No maam, we don’t like our flavors to mix. Nonetheless, the pizza was very tasty as well with great cheese pull. Top 3 for us.

Very good food.. one of the older places in this area… Much larger on the inside than it looks from the outside… The only downside is the delivery is done through uber eats and that takes forever , food arrived cold but ginos took care of the issue (was driver not ginos) but will definitely eat in restaurant again

I am incredibly disappointed in my experience tonight with Gino’s. I get that it’s Friday and busy but the time given to me for pickup was 5:28, I got there at 5:30 to pick up my birthday dinner order for 8 people and they did not have it ready and instead of being gracious, they were rude and insulting saying I was blaming them or accusing them of doing it on purpose. I was not but I had to pick up my daughter and I timed it correctly by their direction and I couldn’t wait because I was already late to pick up my kid. Gino’s, it didn’t seem like you cared at all-it was an older shorter gentlemen who ended up making it more of a scene and accusing me and was incredibly rude. You all messed up,own it and make it right. Instead you treated a pretty loyal customer like crap. What a shame. Now 8 people with no dinner, half of which are kids.

I went to this Italian restaurant on New Year’s day and this is what I found. The people were nice. It had lots of good atmosphere. The food was good; however, it took forever to get it! No one came back to check on me and never brought me my check tab. There was a register at the door with a jar for tips. I didn’t leave a tip because that is for service only and that was seriously lacking! The food was good but not good enough to wait 2 hours+ on.

Went here twice & love the Sicilian Pizza the most! It’s out of the world delicious. The sauce is packed with flavors, the pepperoni is crispy, & the melted cheese on top..PERFECTION! We also order 20-35mins ahead & when we show up, our pizza is ready to eat. Just wish we lived closer, or we’ll order from here all the time. However, nothing beats Gino’s Pizza, it’s amazing. What we also love about Gino’s is that they offer pizza slices too if you don’t want a whole pizza.
