I tell my employees to be consistent, so people know what to expect. The Marmet Gino’s has been consistently underwhelming. The last time we were there, 50min for a soggy pizza. Didn’t complain, heard the person at the counter talking about callouts. I get it, tight payroll. This time . . . 45min to get a Philly steak that was a few burnt strips of meat. No urgency, no quality control, disengaged.

This place was not busy (2 guests) and super slow. Like “did you forget us?” slow. My daughter and I were passing through traveling and wanted to try a local place. Will never do this place again while traveling through. I asked what what made the pubwich different than the other sandwiches. I was told they are basically the same and it’s all made with dough. You couldn’t pay me to eat here again. I honestly don’t know how they stay in business

I worked for Gino’s years ago and always stop when I’m in the state. I called and ordered a cheese pizza at 1240. Got here a little after 1. They hadn’t made my pizza yet. Sat in drive thru and p minutes then came in to wait. Staff was nice but mgmt may need more training. Please come to nc!

Grills shut down at 7? They said since noon. No spaghetti sauce on a Tuesday ?? A salad with just lettuce and onion? The staff was a little stiff and didn’t offer any recommendations. A salad wings and Italian sub was almost 40 dollars!!

A dump run by rude people

Came in while Tesla charged ordered a pizza sat down.

Was given the pizza in a box, the girl told us there were no plates, offered no napkins

Other diners rolled their wyes and gave us their spare napkins

Meanwhile, there are dirty ceramic plates on tables to each side of us

They can do better and so can you – eat somewhere else while your car charges across the street

Worst service we’ve ever had from them. First off they made my food wrong. I asked for no mayo and they had it loaded down with it. 2nd, they didn’t give me my whole order. Had to go back and get the rest of it. Third, my food was either burnt or sopping in grease to the point I couldn’t even eat it. They’ve went downhill since new management came in. The new manager is amazing. He’s polite and understanding but the rest of the employees are rude. I don’t think I’ll be eating here again.

Extremely slow service, told me 20-25 minutes and received my food in almost double that time. I don’t understand why it took so long to make a salad and a sub.

Called in for a pickup order, told the guy I wanted a medium pepperoni pizza. When he told me the total, I said okay and hung up. My husband overheard the amount, and immediately said to call back and just ask what the price difference was for a large instead. Keep in mind I called back within seconds.. I politely told the guy we would like to know the price for a large in comparison to paying almost 13 bucks for a medium. He stepped away and began speaking with another female coworker.. then came back to the phone and said ” you weren’t asking about the price difference because you wanna change the order right, because we can’t change it once it’s been ran through the system”. I again asked the price difference, to which he said maybe a dollar. Then stated again we couldn’t change our medium sized pizza for a large.. even though I could’ve easily just canceled the order, and placed a new order or gone to a different location. Let me also add I used to be shift manager at Gino’s for several years.. and you can absolutely change an order.. especially when it hadn’t even had time to be prepared or go in the oven. In terms of the taste & quality.. it was one of the poorest, most miserable little pizzas I’ve had in quite a while. Total waste of money and my business will go elsewhere when I pass that way in the future

Of course. Here’s the updated version:

I had a fantastic experience at Gino’s. My food was fresh, hot, and delicious. What made the visit even better was the service. The manager Ethan personally checked in with me and made sure everything was perfect. He was friendly, professional, and went out of his way to make me feel welcome. It is rare to get that kind of attention and care. I will definitely be coming back.
