Extremely pleasant experience! Food was phenomenal, staff were attentive and polite, and the prices were more than appropriate given the portion size and quality. Pictured was the Caprese toast, rose honey latte, and homemade granola (yogurt). Only downside, seating area is a little small and this place is rightfully busy. Food came out quick!

This was not your typical Hawaiian breakfast/brunch eatery. It serves mostly new American, some Italian and even some Jewish food. I had its Italian meatball sandwich with fries covered in marinara sauce and bits of pepperoni. It was pretty good and my wife’s corn fritter was decent as well. The young lady who served us was very pleasant and helpful.

We discovered Fig & Ginger on our first morning in Honolulu, just looking for a place to have breakfast near our hotel. At first, the restaurant didn’t really stand out from the outside—it’s tucked into a small plaza and doesn’t immediately catch your eye. But we are so glad we stopped!

We’ve already gone twice during our short stay in Hawai‘i (and plan to return again before we leave), because everything has been outstanding. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy, family-friendly vibe that makes you feel at home.

Our favorite was definitely the mushroom bruschetta—so simple, yet incredibly flavorful and delicious. The açaí bowl was also amazing, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Honestly, everything we tried was super tasty the 4 times we visited.

This spot quickly became one of our favorite finds in Honolulu. 100% recommended!

My husband and I had the salmon Benedict, carrot juice drink, fig and almond latte and banana caramel smoothie. All delicious. They were doing a special and had the salmon Benedict and we were both so excited about that. Reasonable prices in a great location. The staff was really nice and efficient! You won’t be disappointed coming here! Background music was nice.

Cute and small dining spot. Delicious food I got the avocado toast, the whiskey, bacon, the truffle fries, and the coconut mocha. The avocado toast was 10 out of 10. Extremely delicious. The whiskey bacon is one thick slice very good. The perfect balance of sweet and savory. The truffle fries were a crinkle cut thicker fry. I personally like a shoestring cut for my truffle fries but they were still very tasty. The coconut mocha was delicious perfect balance of sweet, but not too sweet.

We wish the Mashed Avocado’s veggies had been cooked slightly longer and mildly seasoned. Cutting the bread was a chore. The ingredients of The Caprese were fresh but overpowered by the saltiness of the prosciutto. The small dining area is very acoustically alive, making it hard to hear people close by when the dining area is full.

Small restaurant, but great atmosphere and some of the best breakfast we’ve had. The waffles were incredible. Fresh made whipped cream, bruleed banana, incredible syrup, and figs. The mushroom baked eggs were a similar version to shakshuka and incredible. Great fresh pressed juice as well. Would recommend.

Great little place just off the main strip. Very cute and classy and clean. The prices are average Waikiki and the food is all very fresh. The portions are a tad small, just as a warning. The waffle, for example, is only half a waffle, and the “Big Brecky” was really only as big as a small sampler from Cracker Barrel. For the price we definitely would have liked more food, but if you aren’t looking to walk away from breakfast absolutely stuffed, this place is definitely for you.

Fantastic food, cute ambience, friendly service.

This place can get busy but the wait isn’t long. We got the fig waffles, ocean house toasties, corn fritters toasties, mushroom toasties, mashed avocado toasties, and scrambled egg croissant sandwich.

Everyone loved their food. The waffles in particular were phenomenal and a perfect “breakfast appetizer” to share.

We’ve already come back once during this trip and would definitely next time we’re in town.
