One of my family’s favorite Thai restaurants, Ginger Thai Restaurant on Mockingbird serves up deliciously flavorful cuisine with a large but well-executed menu! We recently ordered takeout and very much enjoyed it.
Pickup – We only order for pickup so I can’t speak to the ambience of the restaurant or the service provided by the staff while dining there. I also can’t speak to the delivery experience.
Photos – we started eating before I remembered to take photos. The pics don’t do the meals justice.

Thai iced tea is really good, a little on the sweet side but it’s not watered down like other places. The pad see ew had a lot of flavor.

I recently went during lunch and ordered Drunken noodles and an order of Chicken Satay and they were Raw! At 1st i thought maybe is not chicken but the i took a really good look at them and yes they were Raw!! I didn’t have time to go back to tell them because i was on lunch break so i had to go after work at 5:00pm with i did but i called before i got there ( no one answered) so i got there and the place was closed and on google it said it was open, i could see people in the kitchen so i knocked and they just ignored me lol so i waited there because i knew someone was gonna open eventually. 7min later the cashier got there and unlocked the door, i told her why i was there and she told me i would get a refund by the end of the day. Today is been 3 days later and i still haven’t got my refund I DO NOT RECOMMEND This place at all!!!!!

I have been coming here since 2018! Best Thai food in town ! The food is always great and then service is top notch. The atmosphere is cozy and really nice. We also ordered delivery for our work events and everything was great per usual. Highly recommend this place. Let’s try Tom Kha soup, Pad Thai, Chicken Pot noodle, and Shrimp rolls. You’re not gonna be disappointed for sure! 🙂

I placed a to-go order for the chicken satay and was very disappointed. The cucumber “salad” that came with it was extremely minimal — just a few small chopped pieces, more like a garnish than an actual side. The chicken was so heavily marinated that the sauce was dripping out of the takeout container and leaking from the sides of the box.
There were also no utensils included with the order. In hospitality, it’s standard practice to provide utensils for takeout, especially when requested for a tip at checkout. Unfortunately, the overall wasn’t great. This has been the most disappointing Thai restaurant experience I’ve had.

Excellent restaurant! The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommended! Fried calamari and yellow curry are my favorite!

I am deeply disappointed to write this review for what was once my favorite Thai restaurant. Tonight, I discovered a dead cockroach in my soup – which was an absolutely horrifying experience that has completely shattered my trust in Ginger Thai. This also raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen. Sadly, I can no longer recommend this place and will not be returning.

Last time I ordered the rolls with peanut sauce & specified no milk. They said that it was safe/no milk. This time my husband goes to pick up the same order and they say they can’t give us the peanut sauce because it’s made with milk. So which is it? Obviously not actually vegan or allergy friendly.

Great flavor, relaxing atmosphere and reasonable prices… I ordered Thai fried rice with shrimp, lunch portion, husband got chicken red curry and we shared a bowl of coconut soup. Everything was great!
