Such a shame!!!
I travel a lot for work, scope out where I can get my caffeine. It’s not easy in small towns, I try and support local if possible.

So I was heart broken when I rolled up, 10 mins past opening and there wasn’t a soul in sight.

My wife Edith and I come here every Sunday after church. I get my decaf and my wife gets a green tea. They always know my order when I pull in. My only complaint is the shade of green. I’ve told them it takes me back to my oldest boy Greg. His diapers would have blow outs filled with that shade of green and my wife would make me change him. Great customer service and great tasting coffee.

Awesome place! Love getting my drinks here the only downfall I have when I order water it’s not cold. What ice is in the cup is melted. Depending on the worker on how much ice you get. Iwould like for them to use cold water In my drinks.

The pretzels are great especially the cheesecake pretzel with the icing. Funnel fries are good too!

Stopped here for the first time today. I had no idea if the food was any good or not, so i figured wth lets try it. Burger and loaded fries… i could tell it was made with care and not just thrown together and smashed. Im not saying this is anything like a Gordon Ramsay burger joint. But if you want good food for a great price, this would be the place. Stop by with the kids on the way to the park kinda place. Staff was also very nice and even helped me with my order since i had no idea about this place.

The turn into the building is stressful and the lime green up against the rest of the buildings nice warm natrual colors was embarrassing, the speaker was broken and the poor employees where standing out in the freezing cold taking orders on an ipad. The fact that their are 6 windows and only 3 of them are checkout windows. The food is actually bad, not bad in the way that it was messed up or could be made better but like the most sub-par quality, reminded my of school cafeteria food. The employees are visuaby stressed and they weren’t familiar about combo drinks which is just a half and half soda which mean that their training was probably incomplete or rushed, which means that their employees are not only being made to take orders in the cold and deal with opening traffic but also left without training which makes any person with a heart never want to go back. Due to all of this believe me when i say i wasnt upset when i went back to get dome drinks they forgot. I ordered 5 drinks some only costing acouple bucks and some costing 6+ plus, for some reason the more expensivethe drink was the worse it got. Im also unsure why they give the option to have sour candy straws when they dont work. One of the drinks was also a coffee moka that was 6 dollars and it was the most terribly coffee ive had other then Hardee’s coffee. When we came back they gave us another coffee which im unsured if we ordered but its a respectible thing that many workers do where if youre unsure if a drink or item was forgotten you replace it anyways. My issues is that the coffee that we got wasnt only higher quality but it was a small which makes we questions which one is the right coffee or what happened. Which makes me also think that the employees dont know either because they are probably being apondonded on a sinking ship. They also gave us pur food in black licor store looking bags and they didnt have cupholders or they did and didnt bother which either way no blame towards the employees. The experience was so bad it was kinda fun like those restaurants where all the servers cuss at you. The last thing Effingham needs is another fastfood place let alone one that sells soda, gastations haunt this town already we dont need one with red and green wrapping paper. Maybe theyll survive past the summer but next winter and abunch of people are going to be looking for new jobs.

Pretty solid, great drinks and you can add flavors! Whoever in its greatness lyes its weakness, it has very little food, and the food that they do have is mostly snacks, however that’s not necessarily a problem because if your going to this place your going to it for the great drinks not the food
