Absolutely loved Gilbert’s Coffee Bar! The atmosphere is coastal and relaxing, with stunning views right on the water—perfect for a slow morning or an afternoon pick-me-up. The coffee was smooth and flavorful (I had cold brew, and it was top notch), and the pastries were fresh and delicious. Staff was super friendly and made the experience even better. It’s the kind of place you want to come back to every day. A hidden gem in Salerno—highly recommend!

An absolute hidden gem of a cafe in the Port Salerno area.
The service is outstanding – the owners and staff are truly creating community with their customers, as demonstrated in monthly book clubs, remembering orders & names of regulars, and welcoming each person with warmth, kindness, and a great cup of coffee.
They have an array of beverage options including alcohol in the evening. Food options include a variety of pastries (think muffins, gluten free brownies, cookies etc.), as well as seasonal toasts. In the afternoon they offer charcuterie boards that pair nicely with their wine options.
Their atmosphere is intentionally, and thoughtfully curated – with an enclosed patio to enjoy the weather without the bugs, as well as a cozy interior with lots of outlets available for use. The back of the shop faces a small and beautiful marina with a few chairs available to relax in, and enjoy a drink & the beautiful Florida views.
This is a great stop for those visiting the Stuart/Port Salerno area, and I highly recommend it. The people and staff here truly care, and do their best to make your day better.

Gilbert’s (both locations) are the only baristas in Martin county that know how to steam milk properly. They have a great selection of beverages, pastries, and savory food. The staff is friendly and the location is spacious. I haven’t figured out parking but I parked at the civic center and walked along the boardwalk it was a pleasant little walk.

We stopped in here for a quick coffee and were sad we couldn’t stay longer. The seating out the back was lovely, the cortado was delicious and the white chocolate cranberry cookie was perfect. Dog friendly if on a leash.

Cool place in our favorite boat town…Port Salerno. We randomly dropped by to see what they were all about at Gilbert’s and loved this experience. We had toasts (salmon/avocado), a drip decaf, and a latte. FRESH ingredients, delicious. Great outdoor seating overlooking the docks, laid back but super modern and comfortable. They have a proper espresso machine (Italian) and bathrooms that work. Female ownership.
