My fiancé and I have been coming here for many years, ever since Gilbertos only had one location. We absolutely love it. The staff are always so kind, hardworking, and very helpful. The portion sizes are huge. The aguas frescas are so good, and the food is so tasty, and affordable. I absolutely recommend the Arlington Burrito, with everything on it, and a large Jamaica, as these have always been my go to since I first started coming here. My fiancé got the Hot Cheeto Birria Balls for the first time yesterday, and oh my gosh they were great. We highly recommend trying them. Definitely come check out any of their 3 locations. They are absolutely fantastic!!!! ❤️

But being charged extra for extra birria sauce and only getting half a cup on both was a little disappointing. I came back to this location after so long since I usually go to the Cooper one near UTA.
This place still feels more authentic, but just wished the portions matched the price.

Great little taco spot! The food is tasty with really good portion sizes—definitely worth it. The breakfast burrito is huge and absolutely delicious. Service was excellent, thanks especially to Maria, who was friendly and attentive. Perfect place to grab a bite, and I’ll definitely be back again after a Cowboys football game!

I got the birria balls and a churro with caramel sauce and OMG!!! It literally looks like it does on tiktok and its soooooo freakin GOOD!! Makes me want to try everything on the menu now! Highly recommend! An the lady behind the counter is super nice-very welcoming environment 5 stars allllllll day!

Gilbertos is the definition of a hidden gem in Arlington. It looks like a little hole-in-the-wall spot, but don’t let that fool you — this place is clean clean. That was the first thing I noticed, and it makes a huge difference.
The food is just as impressive. My sandwich was excellent — meat seasoned to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. They give you the full spread too: salad, pico, beans, and sides. The fries came plain, but that’s an easy fix with a little salt. The menudo was also on point — it was being devoured at our table, so that tells you enough.
Even with a crowd, the service was fast. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes, hot and fresh.
Bottom line: Gilbertos is clean, quick, and full of flavor. Definitely a city gem in Arlington worth checking out.

I’m still eating thru the menu but so far I love the breakfast burritos and the green salsa. The birria pizza looks good but I’m yet to try it. This has become a regular spot recently after finding it on Instagram.
