Really great venue. Lovely building, warm inside ( it was December ) the menu has been updated since we last went. The food was delicious and the service was pretty good too. All in all for a chain restaurant, we were very pleased. would definitely return.

I went here with friends from work during the week for a get together and we were served by a lovely (& very patient) lady. The food choice made it hard to pick but we all very much enjoyed what we ordered. I went for the Salmon Paneang with coconut rice which was fantastic I would definitely recommend the dish and the restaurant- so would my colleagues!

We had a fantastic first experience in Norwich. Brad was so friendly but also very knowledgeable about food choices and recommendations. We went with Brad’s advice and were not disappointed. Our food was out of this world with so many flavours. Lovely wine menu too. The staff were so friendly and happy. We loved it that much we went back the next night with excellent service from Brad again and the lovely, bubbly, Aaliyah. Every time we visit Norwich The Giggling Squid will be our first port of call you will not be disappointed- look at the pictures of my food

Brad and the team at the Giggling Squid in Norwich are the bees knees when it comes to world class service, food, drinks and caring to ensure you have an evening to remember.

Went for a Saturday lunch, not too busy, fast service from friendly staff making you feel welcome.
Had the 4 small dish set. Rice, spring rolls, dumplings and red curry, very well cooked and presented, very tasty!

We visited Giggling Squid on a Friday evening for a birthday meal while staying in the city for the weekend, which meant we couldn’t arrive any earlier than our 7.30pm booking.
Going out was my son’s choice- the birthday boy. We gave him the option, and he really wanted to go as he was very excited for his birthday. I mentioned when booking that he is autistic and asked if a quieter area might be possible.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly considerate and understanding, even though it was understandably busy. Brad showed us to our table and spent time talking to my son, which immediately helped him feel at ease.
Unfortunately, by that point in the evening Luke was very tired and became overwhelmed by the noise. Before the food arrived, he told us it was too loud for him. When we explained, the staff were completely understanding and happily boxed the food up for us to take away.
When we got back to our apartment, the food had been carefully boxed and bagged and was still hot. We all really enjoyed it, and the food, it was super tasty. Although our visit was short, it was genuinely pleasant, and the kindness and awareness shown by the staff made a big difference. Thank you for treating our situation with such care and respect. It really meant a lot to our family.

It’s one of the more popular Thai restaurants in Norwich. Its decor was nicely presented with an open kitchen. The staff were polite, we ordered 2 vegetarian dishes, i was shocked to find lots of pieces of tofu, and hardly any Vegetables within the dish, especially when it’s not on the menu, disappointing. When they recooked our dishes, I asked for more vegetables. One dish had more than the other.
I personally expect far better, I’m not sure i will return.
