The steak was amazing — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. All the sauces are worth trying, and the corn was surprisingly delicious. The service was outstanding: warm, attentive, and thoughtful. They checked in with us during the meal and really cared about our experience.
I mentioned it was my birthday, and not only did the staff offer kind wishes, but they also surprised me with a complimentary dessert. So heartwarming!
Great value too — a 10oz ribeye at this price is hard to beat. The veggies were tasty as well. Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon this place during a very windy day in St. Andrews. We had the mac n cheese, rasta pasta and the sirloin steak. The staff was attentive and the food was great with generous portions.

We barely sat down before the starters hit the table, and they were whisked away while I was still chewing. By the time I swallowed, the mains had already landed. It felt less like dining out and more like taking part in a speed-eating competition.
Tried to pause for a breather mid-meal and the waitress swooped in again to clear our plates. Total visit time? Around 45 minutes — and that included asking for a doggy bag because we couldn’t finish. They then had the cheek to charge 50p for the takeaway box.
The bill was the cherry on top: the waitress brought the card machine straight over, no breakdown, no smile, just “tap here.” Tip options were 15%, 20%, or 30%. We hit 15%, not realising a 10% service charge was already added. So more than 25% in tips for the privilege of being rushed out the door — only to find the front door locked. You couldn’t make it up.
We both work in hospitality, so we know the value of good service — but this was pure daylight robbery with a side of attitude. Left with a sour taste (and not from the food). Save your money and your mood — this place is a joke.

I loved the food! My son and I went for dinner and enjoyed our meal. The chefs clearly spent a lot of time working out flavour combinations to arrive at a great memu. The prices are comparable to other restaurants in St Andrews. The staff were attentive and happy to help with all our questions. I will definitely go again the next time I am in St Andrews.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was an explosion of flavour from start to finish. We had a selection of starters and sides. As a family of five with three young children, we really appreciated the excellent children’s menu, which had plenty of tasty options for little ones. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was great, and the whole menu was full of standout dishes. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommended! Cocktails were great too!

We were a group of 7. The staff were more than accommodating and attentive to our needs. All the meals were excellent and not long to wait. We had a toddler who ate from the kids menu. This meal was brought quickly before the adult meals. We all enjoyed our visit and will return.

Booked lunch with an Itison Voucher ,staff were friendly and helpful . Our starter was very tasty Short pork BBQ ribs and the main course was Hake on a bed of crushed potatoes with a side of Parmesan coated chips ,throughly enjoyable

Conveniently located restaurant with small but good menu. We had the linguini as well as pulled pork, which were excellent. The scotch old fashioneds were a bit sweet for me. The desserts and after dinner scotchs were excellent. Service was good, and the value was excellent.

Awful service and power coffee. We wanted to have a quick coffee on the tables outside. Went in to order as no service outside, was asked to pay in advance. Took a while and then received a nescafe / power coffee for 3.30 pounds/ coffee. Told the lady waiter that they should warn customers it was power and hot water. We did not drink it. Asked for my money back. She said she could not until she spoke with her manager. Never a single apology. As she started serving everyone else and she said she needed time, I came back 40 mins later and she just gave me an info email to avoid returning the payment I had made for the two coffees. Never again and so many other places around.
