I used to adore the bakery here. Fresh baked donuts, delicious cake and good service. But ALL of those things have gone bad. I tried to get a cake this evening. Had to wait quite a while to get noticed. Even to get a cake with a quick name put on it required waiting 24 hours. The ONLY cakes available right now are christmas. Why? Is no one else celebrating a birthday?? I also got two donuts. My son and I both agreed they tasted days old. Hard and going stale. I didnt finish mine it was so bland.

Giant Eagle bakery is always my go to for a special cake, but today’s came was above and beyond! I asked for tools to be on the cake.the decorator did an amat job! She made a tool belt several tools and even one edge of the cake was a tape measure. It’s perfect. Better than I could have imagined.

First time ordering cupcakes at the powell location for my kid’s birthday. Cupcakes tasted horrible, I found green mold on one of the yellow cupcakes and the butter cream icing tasted like rotten eggs. Disappointed!
