Wow, this place is incredible! Definitely come here to check out this gem in Downtown Round Rock. We visited the other night and loved everything! They’ve updated the menu and added more Japanese dishes, creating a better balance of Korean and Japanese cuisine now.

Food: We decided to order a mix of Korean and Japanese dishes. We started with Dak-Gangjung (Korean fried chicken nuggets) and Hamachi Carpaccio. Both were fantastic. We especially enjoyed the entrees. We tried the Kimchi Stew, Chef’s Special Chirashi, and a Wakuwaku roll. They all blew us away. Everything was so comforting. It tasted like it was made with love and care. We’re excited to come back and try even more menu items.

Service/Ambiance: The server was very friendly, making us feel comfortable. Since it was our first visit, she took her time to share a bit about the menu and gave some recommendations. The restaurant was cozy and intimate, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was clear that many regulars really love this place.

Stopped by Gama Zone Korean Food and had a great experience. The restaurant was nice and clean, and the service was friendly and welcoming.

Parking is available behind the building, about a block away, which was convenient.

The food was really good. I ordered the Truffle Potato Pancake (6 pcs) – $15, which came with an aïoli sauce and was absolutely amazing. Crispy, rich, and easily the standout dish.

I also had the Kimchi Stew – $18, which had really deep, bold flavor. That said, fair warning: it is extremely spicy. If you can handle serious heat, you’ll probably love it. If you’re not used to spice, I would not recommend this dish.

Overall, great food, clean space, and friendly service. Definitely a solid spot for Korean comfort food and I’d come back again.

Amazing experience from start to finish!

The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a modern, stylish vibe that makes the whole experience even better.

The service was phenomenal from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We were warmly welcomed, well taken care of throughout our visit, and truly felt valued as guests.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for incredible Korean food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. We will definitely be coming back!

A more refined take on Korean cuisine. We ordered the Philadelphia maki roll and eel maki roll (8 pieces each), plus the hot pot bulgogi, which turned out to be a safe, non-spicy choice for my husband Everything tasted great and felt thoughtfully prepared. We noticed a Korean diner at the next table ordering lots of other dishes that looked amazing too—definitely makes us want to come back and try more next time!

Ghama Zone is one of our favorite spots in Round Rock. We’ve tried both their Korean food and sushi on different visits, and everything has been consistently great—each time makes us want to come back and try more.

The service is always friendly and welcoming. On our most recent visit, the sushi really stood out. The chef’s choice 8-piece nigiri was excellent, with perfectly seasoned rice and very fresh, high-quality fish. We also had the rice bowl with ikura, hotate, and uni, which was delicious and well balanced. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu.

The Nigiri was unbelievable. Get the bluefin tuna Nigiri, it is worth it. Best Nigiri that I’ve had around Austin/Round Rock, hands down. I’d put it up there with some of my favorite sushi/nigiri/sashimi that I’ve had around the United States.

We had an issue with the waiter forgetting to put in an entree for us, but the manager Amy took care of things properly for us.

Ghama zone was great! the service was okay.
i stopped by for lunch and got a Chirashi bowl. it had a lot of thoughtful touches, like seasoned rice with a layer of imitation crab and tobiko, and each fish was such high quality with its own seasoning on top. it was definitely the best chirashi bowl ive had so far. the space was really clean and open, which definitely added to my experience. i would definitely come again.

This restaurant was extremely clean, and the sushi was very fresh and high quality.
I ordered the chirashi don, and honestly, the quality was almost on par with what you would get in Japan, which really impressed me.
There were many Asian customers dining here, which I believe is a strong sign of how authentic and delicious the food is.
I’m very happy I found this place and can’t wait to come back to try other dishes. Highly recommended!

I can confidently say it’s hard to find food this good around Austin.
With incredibly fresh, premium ingredients flown in all the way from Japan and the chef’s outstanding skill, every dish is truly exceptional.
This is the kind of place you can’t just visit once you’ll definitely want to come back.
Highly recommended!

GUYS WOW

• the decor was beautiful and sleek. Dark browns, gold spoons/chopsticks, even the employee’s uniform was nice. The atmosphere was peaceful and tidy.
•. Our waitresses were so nice, pleasant, and friendly smiles
• we had the tofu pockets – which were INSANELY delicious! The bulgogi, chicken, and seafood ones had an incredible char on them! The fried salmon pocket had a fried shrimp on top which was a delightful bite of texture. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

I will make sure to FOR SURE come back any time I’m passing through.
