Burritos and wraps are a staple of our diet, and we had much higher hopes for Gezzo’s.
As this was our first time, we asked the staff for recommendation and input. Unfortunately they were not engaging at all, gave “idk” and 1-word answers to all of our questions.
I ultimately ended up getting shrimp on my burrito, and while eating it, the tortilla became DRENCHED. My hands were soaked, the burrito was soggy, and it was extremely underwhelming.
None of the flavors stuck out, and the most positive feedback we can give is that the meat on my wife’s burrito was at least cooked all the way through.
The serving station was also fairly dirty and had us a bit worried for how well they maintained cleanliness.
Maybe it was an off day, as there are may positive reviews. For us it simply did not hit.

My girlfriend and I come to this location at least once a month. I frequently tell people this is my favorite restaurants for several reasons, the biggest being the people. Every time we come we are greeted with the same hospitality, Jonathan and Dillon have been there 9/10 we come, they always engage in conversation with us the second we walk in the door. Our experience always starts out well, because of the people.

I guess I got a new server, he was smashing my food down with a spoon. I asked another person to do my order over. The food is great and the workers are friendly. This is the second time I visit Atlanta, GA and I wanted to eat again there cause the 1st time was totally awesome, the 2nd time was so-so.

Years ago, I visited Gezzo’s with my sister, and she still raves about a particular Mexican burrito made by a lady who worked there. That memory stuck with me, so I popped in to grab something light. I ordered two of the Southwest egg rolls with two different dipping sauces sweet chili and chipotle — and let me tell you, they hit the spot perfectly. I requested them extra crispy, and the team was more than happy to accommodate.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff truly went above and beyond. I had the pleasure of chatting with Jonathan, Kai, and Issac — three young men who were kind, attentive, and full of positive energy. It’s rare these days to see people so enthusiastic about their work and so committed to providing warm hospitality.
Gezzo’s boasts a diverse and flavorful menu, featuring freshly made burritos, nachos, tacos, guacamole, and a full sauce bar. Everything is made to order, and you can taste the freshness.

I remember going to this location a few years ago and the service and food were GREAT! Today around lunch time the whole place was terrible. First the the service area for the food was not clean and no one seemed to care that customers could see it. Customer service was non-existent! The two ladies that were working was not engaging (seemed more concerned with counting the cash from the register). I had to remind them to get my food off the cook top or it would have burnt. AND… why are they so stingy with the chips? The salsa area was dirty as well, and running low on everything! I’ll ride the extra miles to the Locust Grove location next time… PLEASE DO BETTER!
