Honestly… this “dive” bar has everything!!! The food is really good. The drinks are priced moderately good. The service is fast and friendly. They have live entertainment, pool tables and an outdoor patio. I love this place!!!

I honestly can’t complain. I was very surprised. The place was very clean. I must compliment the bathroom! I’ve never been in a bar/restaurant that had a cleaner one. Our waitress was magnificent. She even brought me things not on the menu. Best pub food I’ve had in a while.

So it’s really busy in Wednesday’s but that’s because they have an insane $5 burger, tots, and beer combo! I know it’s to get us in the door to buy more liquor (I always do!) but it’s honestly a genuinely good burger! Don’t be afraid to ask to with sit strangers since seating gets tricky. Worst they can do is say no, but I’ve had plenty of people sit with me! We all know why we’re here!

This review is strictly on their Wednesday night $5 Beer+ Burger Basket. A beer and burger w/fries for $5 is such a great deal I had to try it out. The Getaway is a sports bar and grill and that’s exactly what you get when you walk in. Plenty of TVs with sports playing, pool tables, dart boards, and friendly regulars (atmosphere 4⭐️). Our service was excellent, they had 3 servers working the floor and at least 3 bartenders. They were super friendly, very attentive, and had all of our needs met throughout our meal (service 5⭐️). The price is of course going to be 5⭐️, it’s such a great deal, but besides that I ordered an additional drink before the meal and it too was well priced (and our server was very knowledgeable of what beers they had on tap at the time, which was refreshing) They also offer a list of signature drinks to try, and I surely will the next time I visit. Now the food…
I went in not expecting much for $5, these days you don’t get much for $5, so my expectations were low. I was very pleasantly surprised! The burger was big! Well seasoned, cooked perfectly. For $5 it’s a plain hamburger (w/toppings), but you can add cheese, bacon, avocado, mushrooms for an additional charge (I added cheese to mine). It was delicious, seasoned, good char, Juicy not over cooked. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. They also came with a solid fry sauce and I asked for ranch on the side as well. I went with my vegetarian moms and they had no issue preparing her burger with all the fixings plus mushrooms and avocado with the burger on the side. She ordered the tots which we’re also crispy and well seasoned (another 5⭐️ for service). I will definitely be back for an inexpensive, delicious, and filling meal with great service.

I felt ignored the whole time, also waited 45 minutes for 3 mini chicken sliders, employees more focused on an employees birthday than the customers. Had to find an employee to ask for my check, and food wasn’t great. Dont think ill return.

Everything here at this establishment, is proper&served with a smile.That might sound to much like a gimmick but real talk, it down to earth people usually have smiles&are enjoying themselves. It a nice place to just chill for a minute have a bite & whatever meets your fancy as far as drinks, cocktails & or martini and take a load off&relax

Food was decent, server was more involved in her phone than to customers and had to be flagged down to ask for something. I ordered the big John, no bun, no side, and was charged $20. I won’t be back, nor will I recommend this place. Over priced for mediocre food and lacking service. Do better.
