The dessert was definitely the star of the show for my meal. First-time time visitor, and I was hoping to try their banana pudding. Unfortunately, they had sold out, but they had a variety of other cheesecake options, so I decided to try one. It was delicious and although my meal was to go, I finished it right there. The brisket mac itself was good. Brisket had tons of flavor, but the mac was just ok. Overall, I was very impressed with my meal and would gladly go back to try some other meal options and their banana pudding.
Update, returned to see if they had any banana pudding and again they were out. However, the chef was kind enough to say that she could whip up a batch if I didn’t mind waiting….wow, what service. And as expected, it was exquisite bumping them not only to 5 stars but also earning my coveted “Certified Mad Good” rating. Well done, and thank you for the quality service.

I stopped in and ordered the chicken plate with double green beans and a sweet tea, which totaled $21.48. The chicken portion was a leg quarter that tasted and appeared more like roasted chicken rather than wood smoked BBQ. While the flavor was good, it didn’t quite meet expectations for the price point. The green beans were decent but not particularly memorable.
The highlight of the meal was actually the pickles and pickled onions, they were crisp, flavorful, and complemented the plate nicely. I would have liked to try the brisket to get a better sense of the overall quality, but based on the chicken alone, I’d give this place a 3.5 out of 5.
The cashier was exceptionally kind and welcoming, which made for a pleasant interaction. The owner, however, was in the front area working on a laptop and didn’t acknowledge customers; when he did his tone came off rude. While that may not reflect on the food itself, a simple greeting or smile can go a long way in creating a positive atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing barbecue! The flavors were rich and smoky, and the meat was perfectly tender. The sides complemented the dishes perfectly, and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Definitely the best BBQ spot I’ve been to! Highly recommend!

This is some delicious bbq in a small town. The brisket is juicy and full of flavor, the ribs fall off the bone, the mac and cheese was definitely homemade and also flavorful! The prices are very reasonable. Will come back over and over again.

This place is absolutely “FIRE”. Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had, everything was perfect, the ribs were so tender, and the brisket was so tender that I have no idea how they were able to slice it the flavor is spot on and if you feel the need to add BBQ sauce it too is awesome and the taste is so good not that you’ll need sauce because the meat is so freaking amazing all by itself… so if you’re in the area go ” GET SOME! BBQ!!!

Get Some BarBeQue is a delicious choice for lunch or dinner. My favorite is the brisket. It is consistently moist and tender. It has a nice smoke ring and light mesquite flavor. Valerie makes ALL the sides and desserts from scratch. Everything we have eaten is has been tasty. Devine finally has some good BBQ!

We had the loaded brisket mac and loaded brisket potato — both were straight-up fire. Definitely coming back to try the frito pie and the rest of the menu ️
And don’t sleep on the dessert on your way out — 10/10 all around!
