My husband just picked up a veggie pizza…we have been customers for over 15 years and with owner changes (so we were told), we excused the new cooks. But this pizza tonight was bad. All veggies were raw (broccoli/mushroom/hunks of onion), very little sauce all on top of a half cooked dough. I hesitate to post reviews and when I do, I like to praise the business and its associates. I have also approached the restaurants with uneaten product. Tonight, we decided.. I am sad to say we will be looking for a new establishment… . The P’s.

I’m very disappointed in my order. I had the piccata style pasta. I had this several years ago at this establishment and it was quite good. Now I suggest this item be removed from the menu because Gerris no longer knows how to make it . Cut up artichokes were the size of a half teaspoon of peas. There were absolutely no capers in this dish and the pasta sauce was dry and very bland. There is no way the person who cooked this item was the same person of a few years ago. My adult children had chicken wings and chicken parm. Both of their dinners were very good. Do not serve this dish to any customers again until staff learns how to prepare this so called specialty Pasta.

Very reasonable prices and huge portions. The meals make 2 or 3 servings for me. Even a small sub is hard to finish. This time we had a pizza and a sub delivered. We split the sub and had a slice of pizza each. The remaining pizza was enough for two more meals. Everything we’ve gotten from Gerry’s has been delicious! The delivery time was quick and the delivery guy was very pleasant.

Just ordered a Vodka Pasta and wow it was disgusting. Absolutely no flavor and not sure if these guys know what Vodka sauce even is. I added chicken and instead of them using grilled chicken they used breaded chicken, so altogether it was a plate of flavorless, soggy, water pasta. Never again.

Gerry’s use to be my favorite place to get chicken cacciatore, steak tip salad and steak and cheese subs. But ever since it came under new management the food is gross . NOTHING like it use to be!! And the few times I ordered delivery to try out the food was delivered cold and the one time I tried the chicken cacciatore the chicken was like rubbery and like tasted like a old dried out chicken!!! If you are going to try it out I would suggest not ordering the dishes I mentioned!

Ok, I hate writing bad reviews, but I want to warn people about their buffalo chicken calzones. It’s pretty bad… I’m giving them a three star because I don’t want to kill their rating and this is only my first time trying Gerry’s. First off, this isn’t a real calzone. The dough was folded awkwardly and had way too much dough in several spots (too the point where it was under cooked). The cheese inside wasn’t fully melted and the chicken was diced into small pieces, so that when you cut it open it was a buffalo-ee soupy mess. Yet somehow, the bottom was burnt. Also, they didn’t cut it for you, so I was left trying to cut through the tough burnt bottom with a plastic knife at work…. Overall, a bad experience. I always get a buff chick calzone when I try a new pizza place, and I have to give this one a 2/10. Their other meals might be great, but this one is awful.
