Was greeted immediately walking in the door made me feel welcome. Service was great and my kids really enjoyed the donuts they were fresh and the colors were a favorite. I will definitely be back, posit for lunch
Ordered door dash this morning and Gerald’s really disappointed. My daughter didn’t get the breakfast sandwich she wanted luckily I ordered pancakes so she had something to eat. My sons omelet he said was okay but the biscuit and hash browns were awe filling. The fries with my order tasted like yesterday’s left overs. I completely understand food won’t be super hot because I ordered delivery but stale is not what it should be. I ordered doughnuts were good but my kids wanted sprinkles and plain glazed(which is what I chose) and I got a mix of things they won’t eat. This was definitely a waste of 89 dollars and I will not order food from here again. I was really looking forward to the food as my first experience was great but the food was terrible and my kids are still hungry I will still recommend the doughnuts but not the food. I would have rathered McDonald’s and I think my kids would agree.

Plenty of food. Super quick. Very friendly service. I had the Ragin’ Cajun omelette with pepper jack cheese. Extremely tasty and served very hot. So delicious! Would come back when in the area.

Walked in and took my place in line. I didn’t wait long as the girls working the counter were fast and courteous. I came in late morning so some of the donuts my family wanted were out, but the young waitress who waited on me made some great suggestions to substitute the donuts we were out of. She was smiling and courteous and quick on her feet. And the donuts are definitely fresh. The glazed donuts I ordered were hot and the icing was put on them while I waited. I will definitely be back.

My wife ordered donuts and pancakes from here a few weeks ago. It’s now our go-to spot! The Donuts are the absolute best and on the 3rd day of being in the box on my counter they STILL taste fresh. As for the pancakes, they taste like pan-CAKES. Fluffy (yet full), moist and very flavorful. They taste like they are home made and not out of a box. If it wasn’t for the food delivery service (that my wife used for the order) we wouldn’t have known about this place. We have ordered 3 times now. Very satisfied!

We enjoy their food. The donuts are so yummy. But if you order food from the back you don’t know when you’ll actually get your food. It just takes a while. We waited almost 2 hrs once and only because we were chatting with some friends and other patrons who were waiting too. Also the wait staff is amazing ladies who are fun to chat with.

Since the manager has been off site more frequently, the service has gone to hell in a handbasket. Went there this morning, and after putting our order in, we never saw our server again. Waited over 30 minutes for our food and the cook didn’t seem to move with any sense of urgency. All the other tables but one had left already, and we were still waiting for our food and refills. We ended up paying for our drinks and leaving. Terrible service. My coffee can go empty, but my server has time for a smoke break? That makes sense…

First time coming here since the normal place we go to was closed down. They were super nice and quick with my order. They even gave my dog a donut hole and of course he loved that.

Pros: some good donuts especially the maple bacon, a few items on the menu look good, staff is friendly to your face, there is a drive thru window.
Cons: sign on door saying you must wear a mask obviously ignored by some of the workers, donut selection leans heavily on the “cover it with chocolate and sprinkles” to attract kids, from one visit to another there is no consistency in donut quality, some of the prices are too high, if you call to report your to-go order was wrong the phone is placed on the counter so you can hear everything going on until you get tired of waiting and hang up even though a manager was on duty, store is open about a month and is already dingy and dirty inside. Other donut shop/diners very close that do it better.

Our recent visit to Gerald’s took 2 hours. We were sat at a dirty table, which was cleaned with a dirty wet rag by a waitress with her mask under her chin. As far as we could tell, Covid Guidelines are not followed by anyone working at this restaurant. The Masks were fashion accessories that were not worn properly by any staff. Another customer came in and complained that the staff were not wearing masks and the waitress announced to the whole restaurant that if you do not want to get Covid you shouldn’t go out to eat.
After ordering we waited 25 minutes before receiving food for 3 out of the 6 people in our party. My food was good, I had a Chicken Sandwich and Cheese Fries. My wife and daughter got breakfast, they both said their food was cold when they got it, but it tasted good otherwise. I’m sure their food was waiting in the window while mine was being made and just got cold, because mine was hot.
After 5 minutes of waiting for the remaining food the waitress noticed we hadn’t gotten all of our food and checked the kitchen. Apparently, our full order was not sent to the kitchen, printer error. She was very apologetic and polite, and put the order in again. We finished eating before the other 3 people got their food. 25 minutes after they noticed the food was missing the last 3 people get their food. But the second time one of the meals was prepared wrong, and it was not a mistake that could be fixed, it had to be remade completely. The two that got their food finished before the last person got their food 25 minutes later. They all liked their food and didn’t have any complaints about the food once they had it.
Our server was very nice, and I think she even discounted their food because of the mistake.
We got some donuts to go that we ate later, and they were ok.
I understand mistakes happen, but this experience was not great. From the lack of cleanliness and total disregard of the customers health, to the slow kitchen with multiple mistakes and cold food, I will not be returning to Gerald’s Donuts.
