Excellent spot. We stopped for lunch on Sunday and were immediately transported to Italy. Our server (who was also the bartender) was incredibly knowledgeable about the menus, specials and you could tell the pride he/the restaurant takes in the ingredients and cooking. We shared the Caesar, rabbit pappardelle, short rib agnolotti & pork chop. All the dishes were top notch. The pork chop was especially a standout.
Tiramisu and two espressos. Great value. We will happily return and tell friends.

My wife and I went there for Valentine’s Day dinner. While it had a prix fixe menu, it did not disappoint. Every course was perfectly portioned and perfectly cooked. The flavor was exactly as expected. The menu did not lie. The atmosphere was great, even on a busy night. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it!

This little local Italian gem exceeded all expectations. Everything is homemade—from the bread to the pasta—and it truly shows in the quality and flavor of every dish. The pasta special was outstanding, and the beef cheek special was rich, tender, and unforgettable. Even the Caesar salad was light, fresh, and perfectly balanced.
We enjoyed a bottle of Primitivo di Manduria, a bold and fruit-forward wine that leaned slightly on the sweeter side, but paired beautifully with the meal. The freshly baked bread was incredible, and to top it off, the owner personally stopped by our table to share her passion for cooking and even told us about the bread-making classes she offers.
A warm atmosphere, phenomenal food, and genuine hospitality—this place is a true treasure. Highly recommend!

Very nice atmosphere and decorated well. Food is outstanding! Fresh made bread and pasta were delicious. Drinks were excellent. I can’t wait to go again and try more of the menu! Servers were excellent. Attentive but not intrusive. Knowledgeable on the extensive wine and drinks menu. Explained the specials well. Very enjoyable evening! Hoping to return soon.

Made the short drive from the Farmington Valley to Torrington to try the restaurant and it did not disappoint. Absolutely worth the drive. Every dish was delicious, service was great, and the setting was very cute and cozy. Defintiely will be back.

Very cute for a nice dinner. The menu was small but full of delicious food. We got the gnocchi and the Nduja pasta and it was so good. We started with the classic bread and got a serving of the burrata and tomatoes which was perfect for 2 people. Very light and the flavors were fantastic. Dinner servings were very small but heavy. The serving size is the only reason I knocked off a star tbh. It felt like a dollar per gnocchi with the price tag on the food. I’ll definitely go again for the atmosphere, but it’s a special occasion place than a regular spot unfortunately.

Wow! A truly authentic Italian experience. Fantastic from start to finish. Drinks, salad, homemade bread….. wow. I didn’t feel like I was in Torrington…. The ambiance was that of a warm and cozy home.
Complex flavors and spot on wine pairings. The best service.
Staff had excellent recommendations and fine dining skills.
I cannot say enough about this place.
Cannot wait to go back.
My family from Sardinia would approve!!
Ps. They present your check in a Pinnochio book

Place is VERY Italian. Pasta was fresh. Rather small menu but it changes a lot. Very taverny vibe. Loved the bathroom wallpaper. Specials were delicious especially the pesto which tasted especially fresh. Sausage stuffed quail appetizer was very interesting and unique but very good. Seafood linguine was very good. Short rib tortellini was phenomenal. Service was excellent. Tarimisu with espresso was a perfect ending.

Very nice how they redid the inside of the place. Finally tried it for my special man’s birthday. Adorable that the check comes in the book that you can also sign/leave notes. Food was good, would not be my first choice for Italian in T-Town though. I did not like how the male, must of been owner or manager, spoke to someone picking up food – he basically yelled at him & told him he had to wait outside. Just not enjoyable to watch.
