This was my very first pizza stop while visiting Rochester, NY from Houston, TX to spend time with my daughter and meet my new grandson, granddaughter, and their father — and Georgio’s Pizza made the experience extra special!
The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile from a young man in a Texas-style cowboy hat (a little reminder of home!). The pizza makers were cheerful, the lady dining nearby was friendly, and the cozy décor, great music, and relaxed vibe created the perfect atmosphere.
The pizza itself was amazing — hot, cheesy, and full of flavor. The garlic knots were soft, buttery, and seasoned with herbs, garlic butter, and Parmesan, served with a flavorful dipping sauce that tied everything together beautifully.
A place with genuine hospitality, great energy, and even better food — Georgio’s Pizza is a must-visit if you’re ever in Rochester!

My wife and I stopped in for a few slices when they just opened and they were doing just slices. The place looks good and has the same feel as the pizza stop but I agree the staff is better. They changed the mural on the wall and it looks like they got a new pizza oven but I can’t be sure. It’s been some time since I was at pizza stop.
We got the 2 slices and a drink for I think 9 something and an extra slice. My wife got the buffalo chicken and I got a Margherita slice and I asked for a peperoni and mushroom and got the mushroom broccoli but I didn’t correct them because I can see how the mistake was made and I didn’t catch it before they heated them up.
The slices were good and I would eat here again but it didn’t blow the doors off.
They had a multiple of slice options and this was before they were fully open. It’s worth a stop in and I’ll try it again.

Just open in Pitsford Plaza. Really impressed, brought some slices home . The service was a huge improvement from the previous pizza place. The overall vibe and pizza are also way better. The staff was very friendly, they had a crazy cool amount of slices out to try, will definitely go back. Good to see a good pizzeria in Pitsford Plaza

Got this for a quick lunch, the crust was extremely soggy which resulted in my slice falling apart. It tasted fine but not worth the price in my opinion. The staff was very friendly! It appears clean in there

My friend and I drove out just to try this place and it did not disappoint! My friend is from NYC and says it lives up to the reputation of NY style pizza. Great food, great prices, overall great experience!

Stopped in Friday lunch and had a ton of pies out. Similar pizza style and atmosphere to Pizza Stop, but the Georgio’s staff is so much better, they’re welcoming and nice. Great that they’re finally open. Will be back

The pizza was just okay. Big problem was that the crust was drier than British wit. The cup and char pepperoni probably made the meat lovers (or whatever it was called) pizza a C+ instead of a D, so good on that. Kids thought the sauce was too sweet and if kids think something is too sweet they’re probably right. My wife did not care for the Margherita pizza at all (usually her favorite). Wings were not great; just weren’t crispy enough or flavorful enough, and I ordered them crispy. I thought the garlic knots were good but my kids were not as convinced.
The website ordering did not work and when I called to order over the phone I was told I had to order off Doordash instead, which further jacked up an already way-too-high price.
Got delivery so I can’t rate atmosphere.
Will not be back.

Came across this place completely by chance and I’m very glad I did! The people working here are so friendly and accommodating and the pizza is great! My toddler loved being in the store and looking at all the murals and he loved his pizza! Sometimes he doesn’t like thin pizza because the bottom can get a bit dark but he didn’t mind this at all since the top was so good! The cheese and sauce ratio was good to not make a huge mess. I got a large pizza with half toppings for me and you could tell they took care to truly make it the right way. It was ready so quickly too, it couldn’t have been more than 10 minutes. I do wish they had regular pepperoni since I’m not a fan of the cup and char but I got sausage and that was very good. I will definitely be back, especially because I felt the price was very reasonable considering how big the pizza was.

The best pizza I have had in a long time! Thin crispy crust, generous toppings. The red sauce is excellent as is the oil and garlic. Great variety of slices available. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The shoppe is very clean and comfortable.
