Don’t expect much if you’re headed here, and leave any silly comments to yourself if you didn’t read the reviews first. It’s a bar that happens to sell good-enough food. It’s dark. It smells like smoke and stale beer. And it’s run down. Yet, the bartender/server was friendly and unassuming. The burgers were cooked fresh and properly greasy, and the fries were just right. The patio out back is sketch, but it offers a great view of the water and wildlife. I have no regrets for going there for lunch. Go someplace else if you’re expecting anything more.

Very laid back bar. Love the view of orange lake and love seeing the baby gators out back. The food is good. They have the regular “bar food” menu, burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. Bartenders are friendly. They have beer(bottle and draft) and they have liquor and mixed drinks. I really enjoy watching the pool tables. They have multiple TVs to watch the game. It’s a great place for the locals to have fun and relax. But everyone is welcome. Come get a few drinks and make some friends.

We had a couple of sandwiches here and they were ok, nothing special. But the best part of the whole experience was the beautiful view of the Orange Lake. This place is kind of out of the way, but if you want a nice view, be sure to visit and sit outside to enjoy!

Stopped in Saturday after the Micanopy festival accidentally meaning to go to the other side of Orange Lake. Bartender was sweet as could be, working alone and then other employees came in. Food was good for a small bar. Back deck made the experience even better and I do plan on going back.

Fishing on Lake Lochloosa and just happened upon Georgie’s. It was early afternoon, so the place wasn’t very crowded, but the bartender was very friendly and informative. There aren’t a lot of options around Orange Lake, so it was nice to find Georgie’s. 🙂 They have pool tables and darts.

This is a bar, in the woods, on a lake, in Ocala. They have lots of booze and beer. Menu has good sandwiches. This is pure Florida cracker. Great little place.
