Would eat here again. Pluses and minuses to this place. Pork was great. Sauce is really tasty. Tomato based but tangy. Chicken was overcooked but we were there at 2pm and he was almost out. Fried pork skins to order. Cute place. Smelled like a BBQ place should. Owner is really nice.

It’s your boy ” The RIBOLOGIST” I visited this spot which is owned by a really good guy. 1st it was pork slider special today for $1.25. Sam does an EXCELLENT job with specials and meals under $5. ( Kinda unheard of for BBQ joints ) This is a vinegar based sauce. I appreciate ALL bbq. The prices and deals makes Georgia South a good place to drop by whenever in Barnesville. The ribs were seasoned nicely and tender. ( The cut was a little short & fatty but good) I know cuts can vary. Whatever you order will be good. I am the RIBOLOGIST so I MUST say ” NOT AWARD WINNING BBQ” Sorry family. You’re boy The RIBOLOGIST IS OUT ✌ .

Quaint place off the beaten path. Owner was nice and walked the room to meet his patrons. Barbeque was good to me although my spouse said it was a tad salty. Brunswick stew (my barbeque joint barometer) actually tasted like Brunswick stew although it had a bit too much corn.

Food was average and serving sizes very small. Ordered a meal and did not want bun, received small serving of meat and same size serving of mac and cheese. Judge for yourself, portion size shown in photo next to a 12 oz can. Their portions appeared to be about half the size of what I generally receive at other BBQ restaurants for similar cost. Overall value seemed very low.

Food is alright, however the folks here have shady business practices. They’ve hidden their health score, I shouldn’t have to play eye-spy with something that is meant to be displayed. Another thing they’ve done is given wrong sizes for the things I’ve ordered, I’d recommend checking your bag to make sure everything is correct before you leave. Container size; especially the small, is a tablespoon of whatever you’re ordering. Kind of ridiculous considering the prices this place charges.

The folks were super nice, the food was super disappointing. Got a brisket sandwich with potato salad and a drink. The sandwich was small like a kids sandwich or something and the potato salad came in a small sauce container. The sandwich had a lot of grizzle and fat in it, and the potato salad was barely okay. I honestly wouldn’t eat there again. I was super disappointed.
This part sucks about leaving reviews but honesty is a must. Hopefully the owners will see this and maybe make some changes….

First off, we happened upon this little family owned gem in downtown Barnesville after our planned destination was closed. Not being from the area, we gave it a try. LISTEN!!! Those pork egg rolls are TO DIE FOR!!! I’m mad I only got one. I’ll be back. Skylar, up front, is THEEEE SWEETEST and was so patient with our Indecisiveness. We bought a little bit of everything and nothing disappointed. My hubby really enjoyed his smoked turkey drum and smoked sausage. The wings, stew, and brisket were good too. We’ll definitely be back. My mom pastors a church right up the street from there and we’ve told them about it. I love to support small and minority owned businesses. See y’all again soon for some more of those egg rolls. YUMMY!!!! Great service!

1st time eating here since we moved here & I’m not disappointed!! The wings are delicious. I got the 1/2 chicken platter & it was so juicy, with a good smoke flavor. Everything was good that I’ve tried so far. I will definitely be back!
