Stopped in for lunch while traveling. We had the brisket with slaw and sweet potato tots and a Pulled Pork sandwich. Service was good, pretty much self serve. Food was okay, the brisket more like roast than smoked Brisket.

Had the Buffalo chicken tender sandwich, breathed in when eating and got hit with so much fire from the sauce. LOVED the sandwich, perfect amount of heat.
SUPER affordable. Under $30 for two meals and a kids meal.

The food was fantastic. It was hot and fresh. The young ladies that serve us they had a bubbly attitude, very helpful knowledge of the food product, and Service the atmosphere was great. We will be back again to visit to the owner and the co workers continue to keep up the great work! The restroom was clean overall we had a great experiment.

Decided to give it another shot, should have kept driving. Ribs have no smoke, fatty underside is pure white, sausage has no smoke and almost looks boiled, brisket was tough and pulled pork had no flavor unless you drown it in sauce.

Nice atmosphere & friendly service but the food is not all that great. The fries were so salty. I couldn’t eat them, the brisket was edible, but the ribs were awful. Good potato salad though.

Friendly service, in a country feel cabin like rustic decor. Got the platter with ribs & pulled pork, came with two ribs only, the sides we chose were fries & sweet potato tots. The best were the ribs & sides the pulled pork not so much, dry & not the best flavor.

Staff was very sweet and place looked nice and clean. Showed up at noon was already out of brisket (it was not busy at all) so got the rib plate instead and it was driest ribs ever. Maybe other meals are better but stay away from the ribs.

Would NOT recommend! Worst BBQ experience that we have ever had. The brisket was “boiled” and the pulled pork tasted as if it had been in a can. Definitely NOT an authentic BBQ restaurant, but a HUGE disappointment and lesson to never return. You would think being that it has been around since the 1920’s they would have at least perfected their craft, by now. Highly disappointed.

I really wanted to like Georgia Bob’s, but this was one of the worst barbecue experiences I’ve had.
The “brisket” was rubbery and didn’t resemble brisket at all. I honestly couldn’t tell what cut of meat it was supposed to be. The mac & cheese was bland, the ribs had a strange peppery flavor that didn’t work, and the sauces on the table were sticky when you picked them up and watery inside, which was very off-putting.
The restaurant itself was very dirty, especially the floors, and despite people constantly coming in, cleanliness and quality seemed ignored.
The only positives were the okra and the sweet tea.
Overall, extremely disappointing. I won’t be returning.
