GEORGETOWN THAI GOURMET opened in 2006 as the first and only authentic Thai restaurant in Georgetown. It was owned and operated by a local Thai family, who wanted to share the vibrance Thai culture trough the true flavors of Thai food. We offer a wide selection of non-spicy to spicy dishes, made with family recipes, using traditional Thai ingredients and cooking styles. Our menu led to a THAI SELECT Certification awarded by the Government of Thailand. We proudly offered dine-in, take-out in downtown Georgetown for 14 years. In October 2019, we moved to a central location of town at 232 Guelph St. and served our patrons for 5 years. In June 2025, we relocated to 378 Mountainview Rd. South.

The Pad Thai noodles were truly impressive—flavorful, balanced, and expertly seasoned. I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, with cozy decor and the wonderful aroma of fresh spices. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. I tried the Pad Thai and the Green Curry both were flavourful, perfectly balanced, and tasted incredibly fresh. The spice level was exactly as requested, and the presentation was beautiful. Portions were generous without feeling heavy. Overall, this is a great spot if you’re craving authentic Thai food in a relaxed setting. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

I visited this Thai restaurant day before yesterday. The food overall was good and flavorful, but I personally didn’t enjoy my meal as much because it had way too many pieces of tofu, and they were humongous. The large chunks really overpowered the dish and made it difficult to enjoy the rest of the flavors. If the tofu was cut smaller or the portion balanced better, it would have been a much more pleasant experience.

Just had an amazing experience with Georgetown Thai! The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were ! Everything about the food was on point . While there’s no sit-down seating, (for now) the grab-and-go setup is super convenient, and the place is spotless . Perfect for grabbing cozy Thai food to take home and not to forget, its hand slaughtered Halal!. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely incredible! The flavors at this Thai restaurant are unbelievably fresh and authentic. Good food, ordered quite a bit a food this time. The pricing on the website is inaccurate so as I was ordering was a bit confused with the number at the end. Food is always decent, but always a bit oily. The shrimp was a bit overcooked this time, but not usually. Tried the black noodles first time- def a new favorite not saucy, just flavourful! Spring rolls are really good- just have to have them hot. Would recommend this place always

We ordered two days in a row through Uber Eats 2 portions of the green curry (chicken) with jasmine rice (why don’t you try including the jasmine rice with the dish rather than having to order it separately and driving the price up further? Sacrificing $2.50 from your end will give you more orders and will make it more enticing to people ordering the dish) We also ordered the lemon grass soup with a side of their hot sauce (so so good for people that love spice). If you can also offer full bottles of the sauces on Uber eats, it will be great. The food is always amazing and you can tell it’s freshly made, because the food was really hot when it arrived. The portions are also reasonable. It is a bit pricey no doubt but then again you are paying for the quality and flavour their food has. I love Thai food and order this cuisine quite often but this is by far the best Thai food I’ve eaten. Just wish you had a location in Brampton too and without a doubt I would be a regular. I would recommend your restaurant in a heartbeat to anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic Thai meal. Keep up the good work and I’ll be back for more.
