We were meandering through southern Minnesota and had a late lunch at this restaurant. We tried a variety of foods: cheese bread appetizer, cheese pizza, Caesar and Greek salads, and a gyro sandwich. The food was pretty good with larger than expected portions. The gyro meat was very good. The salads were unexpectedly large – we thought they were side salads because of the price. Our server was attentive, friendly, and fast. The restaurant was quiet and relaxing.

This is our first time here, heard wonderful things. We tried the pizza and boneless wings. *note- we came at the height of the dinner rush on a Friday night. I cannot think of the last time I saw *every single employee (including the owner) work this hard, and move that fast to keep everyone happy. Nobody sat idle for one second. Everyone smiling. The pizza was delicious! Crust has a crunch to it, not doughy. Not too thick. We will definitely be coming back…repeatedly! What a local gem! We had seen some of the fried chicken and fettuccine go past our table. Trying that next time! Keep up the good work. You have what appeared to be dedicated, happy hard working staff! And the owner/manager as busy as he was loading pizza after pizza thanked almost every person who left for their business.

Stopped into George’s Vinyard for a early dinner while visiting Northfield the ither day. They have fantastic pizza with a variety of toppings that are exceptionally tasty. I also saw a chicken plate go by that looked inviting.

Pizza and hot wings were not good. 16 inch pizza was put in the trash. There burger was ground up like baby food. I do not recommend pizza from here. The sauce tasted like plain tomato paste no flavor whatsoever.

Great food and service! Is an old pizza hut. Great for families with kids. We enjoyed the pastas and greek gyros platter!! Spaghetti and meatballs is very good.

Good traditional pizza. It is even cut in squares like is traditional in Northfield. Flakey calzone like crust with plenty of toppings. Good garlic cheese bread (free with large pizza on Thursday) too.

Table of six. A busy night at George’s, but we were seated within a few minutes after they cleared and wiped down the table. Our server was prompt and attentive. The food from the back and chicken pizza, the Chicken Alfredo, spaghetti with meatballs, and the gyro platter, was delightfully flavorful. While I didn’t have it, the Chicken Alfredo looked (and from the sounds of those eating it) was probably the best dish on the table. That said, the gyro platter wasn’t bad either.
