Zero! Disgusting! They should not be serving any type of food! Fake imatation crab on mushrooms!! steak was not even good tasteless! Veggies were hard again no taste! Fake bacon bits? For a meal that cost this much … I am discussed. Couldn’t even toast garlic bread??

In the past 20 years we could not count how many meals out family and others have ate at George’s, but it would be 400 all total, there was No fóod we did not try over that time period yes there were some meal that were not perfect. The food quality was always 4 star and 5 star with reasonable pricing.
Since the New owners instead of going regular we stay away because the quality has hit ALL time Lows and the staff don’t want to be there attitude is bad.
It is a disgrace that the New owners have ran it into the ground. We understand prices have gone up. The issue is the portions have got small and the quality of cooking is aweful on good days and just bad all others.

We’ver ordered the lasagne supreme (cottage cheese) with added seafood for at least two years. Today, we get our order, and it’s alfredo sauce instead of tomato.
One is forced to wonder why making lasagne with alfredo sauce instead of tomato is something that would even exist, let alone the fact that it isn’t even listed as an OPTION on the apps…. I wonder why.
Otherwise, the food is usually great, but this is a damned travesty. It reminds me of the one place that gave out cinnamon pastries with sweet sauce for donairs instead of actual icing. Same vibes.

It wasn’t busy on a Monday evening. The server was polite. The food was fabulous. My only issue was how slow the service was. I know we had 8 people but the server was slow at getting our drinks out. Sure getting food prepared for our group size plus the other people as well takes time. Why don’t they have more than one server on? How many cooks? This is probably why I don’t do restaurants very often.

Was invited out for supper—we had always wanted to go, so we were excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, the experience was a big letdown. The restaurant was very dirty with an off-putting smell as soon as we walked in. Service was poor and inattentive. The menu had way too many options, which made me question how fresh anything could really be. Portion sizes were large, but that didn’t make up for the lack of quality. Luckily, we didn’t get sick—but we won’t be going back.

There are New East Indian Owners in the last 9 months approximately. I cannot believe they have ran a great location into the ground.
The Pizza was Below average and bad even at 1/2 price. They changed the menu so 1/2 pizza are only 3 toppings and medium. Yes they still charge $1.00 for take out containerDont worry the pizza is so small you will not have any take out, and personally you don’t want any to take home.
The service was the worse service we have had in decades. I think the male who helps is the New Owner. They Did not refill drinks either.
The Bathroom door looks like there is mold growing on it ? Serious health issue on how dirty it looks and feels.
We had 2 pizza which would be smaller than a individual pizza at Boston Pizza the price was $24.00 NOT worth the price.
There are 50 reviews on Red Deer Food App about George’s and 45 of them day stay away they cannot all be wrong and I’m not wrong.
There is a new pizza burger location blocks south with way better foodin the old Soro location called the Old Burger House GREAT pizza there. Also Pappa Balddy is South of There but more expensive

We really enjoying going to George’s Pizza & Steak House. Home cooked meals that always deliver great taste and leave with a full tummy. Good quality food, large portions and very well prepared dishes. Service is consistently fantastic. The decor is a bit dated, but it is comfy and welcoming. A great eatery for a very good meal.

Great restaurant! My service dog was welcomed here and accepted immediately. We were seated at a nice comfortable booth, and received great service. The food was fantastic too! Their burgers r freshly made, and the fish dinner was nice and crispy, our whole meal was delicious! The waitresses were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, including puppy. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and the food was excellent, their booths are so clean / comfortable, and they welcome our important working service dogs, its everything u want and need in a restaurant ! 10 star rating for sure!

UPDATE: They have no record of my credit (thank God, now I know this) and have MULTIPLE health code violations like not having kitchen staff with food safe courses, and not having lids on things in the coolers. Never again, STAY AWAY!
Got a caesar salad, a chefs salad, the crab stuffed mushrooms, and the loaded potato skins.
My Caesar salad dressing was very off tasting, and the chicken tastes almost fishy.
The chefs salad came with no dressing.
The mushrooms are a whole different issue. There is about a quarter cup of water in the bottom, they all taste awful. I’m assuming they freeze portions to heat when they need but wow.
The potato skins are dry but fine, but fame with no sour cream or anything.
The garlic toast was the best part of the meal, I’m just glad it wasnt wonderbread like others have gotten
When we called about the missing dressing, they initially hung up on us after saying they would check. After we called again, she offered a “Dressing credit”.
Tried the rest of the food after and was super disappointed, and almost certainly won’t be trying this again after reading other reviews.

Delicious. Sadly no ictures but i ate it before i cpuld get pictures. Waitress was very helpful. Steak was done to perfection
