George’s Family Restaurant has a great breakfast buffet! It may be on the smaller side, but it honestly had everything we needed. The food was fresh and satisfying, with some standout options like fried chicken and warm cinnamon rolls, which were a pleasant surprise on a breakfast buffet. Of course, they also had the breakfast staples like bacon and sausage, along with a few other solid choices. Everything was well-prepared and hit the spot. If you’re looking for a simple, comforting breakfast buffet that does it right without being overwhelming, this place is definitely worth checking out.

I have been going here for years. Ownership has passed down to family and Desirée the daughter is doing a great job continuing to grow the dining experience. For a local staple they are updating and have a nice outdoor patio area as well the best Reuben sandwich in Spfd in (my humble opinion) which pairs great with their really good onion rings & their signature salsa is my fav. I put it on almost everything. you can ask them. you just have to try for yourself & if you know then you know. All of their staff have always been great to me and the newest addition Britany was very pleasant and friendly and called me darlin. brightened my day! Very sweet. Also their homemade pies and cakes are delicious. I like the pineapple upside-down with a side of salsa, mmmm. Again you would have to try for yourself. & honestly their lunch & salad buffet which is different each day is probably the best deal in town that i have found. Also I am not being paid or for this review. lol. Just thought since I have been going here for years that I at least owed them this. I am actually eating my leftovers from yesterday rn as I write this. Hope you get to try

If you like an old fashioned, home town restaurant with good food and good service George’s is for you. Great staff. Friendly without being phony and knew all the regulars. I was in town for a basketball tournament so not a regular but had great service. Breakfast was cooked perfectly.

Came in for breakfast with the lady. Breakfast buffet was fully loaded. Bacon, biscuits and gravy, fried chicken, pancakes, and more. The best food no but plenty good. This place is a nestalgia hit for me from over 20 years ago. Glad to see it still has its charm and people watching.

Mt brand new son inlaw Luke turned us onto this place. I had never ate there nor my wife. They got the recession proof breakfast which is a good deal I ordered the goerges sampler breakfast cause I was hungry and I wanted to try out their stuff. The price for what I got was more than fair. I report that all was good. The coffee is pretty bold which is okay. The food all was perfect. They are masters of their craft and I don’t give that lightly. I messed up and ordered scrambled eggs instead of Sunnyside up which is a test more than scrambled eggs are. However I observed another tabel that ordered them and they were perfect. We ate at around 10 am on a Friday it was busy however my son inlaw said on weekends you have to wait in line normally. I highly recommend this place to eat at. It’s like your grandma is cooking for you once again….it’s that good.

Really good food with some great recipes. Many of their food items are made from scratch right in the restaurant. Friendly employees, good portions, great atmosphere, and decent prices. They are now open until 8 P.M. a few nights a week, so you can enjoy breakfast anytime.

It was without a doubt the best experience I have had going to a restaurant like this. The service was amazing. The food portion size was on par with a Japanese steakhouse. Very helpful staff and everything is made in house. They sell local honey and freshly made salsa as well as serving in house made guacamole.

We ate here on the November 21st arounf 3:30pm and the server was horrible. The food was okay to an extent. She got our order wrong. She did offer to get a baked potato but she offered to reduce our ticket but didnt. She also kept calling my step dad and me “hun”, “sweetie”, & “baby”. Today is not what you call call regular customers, especially in front their spouses. We won’t be coming back as long as this server works here.
